There's a video with the producers talking about the voice recording of Chloe and Max, especially the junkyard scene when they find Rachel. The ambience in the recording studio was tense as they both were actually crying. It was hard for everyone involved in the recording of those emotional moments. Ash and Anna (their voice actors) really got into the story and made it as real as it can get.

As much as some people hate Chloe, I can't help but feel bad for her. She didn't deserve her cruel fate. In a sense, the universe did hate her. Her father was taken from her, her best friend left during the funeral, her mother basically erased all memories of William, she hardly talks about him and in BTS, she hid a picture of her and William together in her dresser, she met Rachael and felt loved for the first time in a long time, Rachael slept with Frank and Mr. Jefferson, you can argue that it was for them but I'm not really convinced, and then Rachael got killed. She lived her whole life feeling unloved and like her whole world was falling apart and it was her fault until Max came back. But the messed up part? If you chose the "canon" ending where you sacrifice Chloe, Chloe never, ever, saw her best friend again, and died alone, thinking that she had no one, and was hated by everyone. This game is so messed up in so many ways, but does a good job at making us feel bad.

The final line of dialogue has never appeared in the game for me. It shows how broken she is after everything she’s been through in her life. Years of feeling and being alone will do that to a person. I love this game but I hate the “choice” you’re left with at the end of this game.

This game makes me feel such strong emotions... So much about it is so touching. How Chloe is damned no matter what. The importance of little things the player chooses to do or to not do. Victoria's story. Rachel's story and Sera. How Max is both capable of changing history's course so much as to destroy the entire city... but at the same time completely powerless to save Chloe. This is probably the best game ever.

Max was the bad friend. She didn’t even reach out to Chloe after moving back. Chloe’s a good person who’s been shit on by life. There is no one side to everyone. Like Sirius Black told Harry. Everyone has a bit of both in them. The Chloe haters just have a really lousy habit of focusing only on the bad.

The second one just gave us a little snippet, of what each decision resulted in and how it turned out. But, if we're really honest with ourselves...we want Max and Chloe.

In the junkyard, when you're tasked with finding bottles for targets, if you move towards Chloe and press "look", there Max says "That's my Chloe". It was always hinted that Max would leave everything to be with Chloe again, she regrets leaving her back then, now that she got the chance, she wouldn't let go. I really wanted some kind of follow up story episode for Max and Chloe after they left Arcadia Bay, even if it were a single episode (like Captain Spirit), would've been really content with that.

@@sam-mv7qp Max calls her out for being overly dramatic and Chloe seems like even more of a brat for not accepting Max's help and, if I can gleam any context from this, abandoning Max when she most need it. I already didn't like Chloe's character because shes a very toxic person but even I thought this was a little much. Max at least trys to stand up for herself by telling Chloe shes not being fair about the situation and trying to calm her down like she always does but I think it goes against the narrative of her relationship with Chloe.

It makes me wonder if Chloe and Rachel were together and Rachel lied about being with someone else or Chloe was just possessive over her crush and Rachel lied so Chloe wouldn't flip out. Her dialogue in episode 1 and Rachel's note are super confusing as to what their true relationship was. But that's just me though. Either way, Rachel was lying to more than just one person seeing as she apparently fell in love with Jefferson and slept with him.

She's hard to deal with yes and maybe a bit unfair at times but, she's a good person, Look at everything she had to go through in the first and prequel game She risked her life multiple times With drew (Both options) With Rachel With that prick Damon With Nathan (Including the time she defended him, Wether you chose to or not she still was thinking about it) And the Storm Wether which fate you chose she is a hero, And she proved that MULTIPLE times. I hate that people hate on chloe, When they really should be hating on Jefferson and Damon, the true villians of the stories. Jefferson's a pedo and takes pictures of highschoolers while they are tied up and drugged and kills them too And Damon beats on highschool like Drew, Mickey, Rachel and Chloe and also wouldn't hesitate to kill them like he almost killed Rachel
