God certainly pointed me to this message today. I am going to a doctor's appointment today I cannot afford financially but know I need to go. I too, started feeling depressed about my finances, then, like Joyce said, I began Thanking God for the roof over my head and food on my table. The ability to walk, talk and drive. Then I remembered the verse, "I will never leave you nor forsake you", and He how He takes care of the birds ". Yes, we have Many things to be thankful for - And I am Saved by Grace!!!

I have a son that is a drug addict. He has used everyone in the family to get the funds to buy more drugs. We have all tried to help him recover from his addiction. He lives in horrible conditions. He has sold everything he had for drugs. I pray for help. He has hurt himself and everyone he is in contact with. I forgive him but can not help him get what he craves.

As someone who's been where your son is, I can tell you, Don't give up hope! And most importantly, Never stop praying! My parents prayed for me for years before God delivered me 🙌🙌 I haven't looked back since & here I am 20 years later, with a powerful testimony 🙌 I know it's hard sometimes to wait on God's timing, but His timing IS perfect & He knows exactly how to reach your son at a time when he will be perfectly able to receive the help. When you pray, you need to EXPECT God to answer your prayers & to work in your son's life. If I've learned anything in my 40 years of life, it's that God is ALWAYS FAITHFUL 🙌🙌

I also have a daughter that has done the same…I had to get a Restraining Order on her. We have to continue to pray for them, .. give them to God. Sometimes we have to step away and allow God to work in their lives…

You're right, we pray for them, and it's up to each person in their life to care for themselves, after we've done all we can. I saw my husband, an only child , in the 70 s, ruin his life with drugs. Eventually he did commit suicide. We had two little girls. Can't tell you how difficult that was. He just didn't want to work, or be responsible. His parents were well off, he wouldn't work half the time. He was so smart, handsome, and gifted in many ways. He worked at two major airlines, quit those, worked at a tv station in the arts department, quit that job, knowing Mom and Dad would be there to support us. We had so many arguments and in the end he couldn't find his way. I still think about him with love and wonder if he's in heaven like I hope. He did this on Valentine's Day. I still have the card I was given by him telling me he would Love me forever and always. If it hadn't been for God and my family I don't think I would come out of my devastated state of heart mind and spirit as I did. You're Not responsible for others'actions. This video is taking me back. I almost never remember or think about that time. Great video/sermon.

One thing I can see is no matter how a person was treated that is not to be an excuse for them to stay that way. Now I can say it is easy to associate with someone making excuses as someone who likely won’t go to heaven when they die. Now if a person’s saved and they make excuses to stay how they are I don’t believe that will keep them out of heaven necessarily but they will lose rewards that they could have had. So I would say to anyone associating someone making excuses as though they won’t go to heaven please let this be some assurance that them making excuses won’t necessarily mean they will not make it to heaven.

Joyce is a great example for me. It’s not easy forgiving someone who did you harm. I’m trying to make a decision to forgive my abuser my mother ex husband. My mom believed me but she wouldn’t stop talking to him and asking him for money that made it worse. I felt betrayed and I became bitter.
