The US must never claim to 'own' any part of Israeli sovereign, God-given land. By all means, come along side Israel and help rebuild for the Jewish homeland. But do not claim their land for the US.

Israel was technically divided when they gifted the land in Gaza to the Palestinians. Israel will always own that land. Always! This is not the US owning Gaza but more that the US will take ownership of the solution to an error that Israel made when they gave away land to a people group who do not want peace, and have committed to the destruction of the State of Israel, no matter the cost. There will never be peace with Hamas living in your back yard. The land is in Ruins. It’s full of underground tunnels and unexploded bombs, rockets, and ammunition. It will need.to be leveled completely rebuilt from scratch. If the US doesn’t take ownership of this then someone else will. Too many evildoers out there to trust it to just anyone.

@@stephanieh.1633 My guess is that it would take longer than four years to rebuild, which would put us into another administration. Who knows what the next administration would do? And I do see this as further division. Trump is touting ownership. I would be careful with that terminology. That land over there belongs to Israel. Even if we help them with it. If we get involved and add stability to the area for a short time, does this get Israel closer to a rebuilt temple?

The Bible says Gaza will not be inhabited except by flock. If it takes 10-15 years to rebuild plus get destroyed again- we are no longer in the last seconds of the last days as you’ve all mentioned in the past. So confusing to see your stance change based on current news rather than what the Bible is saying. Also, it says not to divide Gods land- doesn’t matter if it’s Saudi Arabia or the United States. I don’t see how this is any better.
