I was a young black kid from chicago watching this movie for the first time when I was about 12yrs old. This movie is so relatable. Its a Sonny and C everywhere even my neighborhood. One of the best films of all times.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve told my now 29 year old daughter about “Sonny’s rules.” When she was about 15, we sat down and watched A Bronx Tale. She understood a lot of the “why” at that point. She actually told me after a date a few years later that she unlocked the driver’s door from the inside because of the movie. Now that she’s a Mom of a two year old, and a Wife, she really understands. It’s the little things in life that make it “living.” I truly enjoyed this video, as it brings back so many great memories. All the best to you and your family.

Chazz. Thank you for your persistence in making this movie YOUR way. When I started dating in the late 1970's, I had serviceable, but not super-fancy cars. I was (and still am) a gentleman and always opened the passenger seat for my date first. Figured out "the door test" pretty quickly.

Just saw your show in Warren Michigan. The show was outstanding and luckily I was the guy that was the last one to say hello and get a picture. Wanted to say something but I was lucky to get back there. 1. I remember as a kid working at a golf course and telling my dad that Jackie Cerone gave me a $ 50.00 tip and Tony Accardo was there. Of course I was going on and he said the same thing to me as your dad ( my dad was a milkman) he said let's see them get up at 2:30 in the morning everyday and do what I do. 2. You are in a lot of great movies but one that never gets mentioned that I thought was really good was Faithful. Have a great day!!!

You might just be the finest method actor of all time. The fact that you have been aware of whats around you for so long and from as young. It shows that the Bronx Tale is not just a movie about your experience as being a young man. Its you morphing into Sonny. I do feel that Sonny the persona, the voice.....Follows you around. As any good wise guy Sonny makes it look as if its the Movie that made you a great. Its Sonny that said no to the first deal and its Sonny that kept that line from inside the bar...... Most people would never even recognize it. You are Sonny my bro. I am almost certain that Sonny exists only through you. You have just taken a seat next to Brando.

Life Lesson #1 - So true. Soo so so SO true. I have gotten into trouble with friends, family, and strangers for not practicing ten seconds of patience. It even drove the final nail into the coffin of my marriage. I ended up getting divorced and spending only 5 years of my seeing my daughter every day. She is now going to be 13 and I only get to see her roughly 30 percent of the month.

The irony of what happened to the main character in real life, is the most important lesson . That young man couldn't see the wood for the tree's, that's sad. The fact a police officer died because of the actions of that man indirectly or not, is the saddest and most heartbreaking part of all.
@Orangeflava Жыл бұрын
