Michael Franzese last sentence "the one's you are accountable to, is the path you chose" is a powerful idea I never heard before , but explains so much, even in my small non criminal life.The bad choices I made as well as the good ones. Great interview
@nicholasmangialardi16182 жыл бұрын
It had to happen! You two are superb the way you play off each other. Wise, witty, respectful and decidedly old school as far as manners and the way you carry yourselves. I come from an old school Italian family on both sides, so I can relate to some of it 🇮🇹
@tinatinteen5271 Жыл бұрын
Reapect you a lot, Chaz and Mike, I really saw in Mr. Franzese's eyes smth else in this video. I saw the grief he feels about all the years he went the wrong path and all the things he had to do. This man went through tremendous pain, his soul broke many times, and his heart was torn. But he made it through.

Years ago I knew someone who really wanted to be apart of that life, they were related to the "Tocco" family for those who know which family they wanted to be in. I kept bringing up what happens to all these guys and they just didn't understand. They kept telling me they're too smart for that, the government could never get to them, they won't make dumb mistakes.....No idea what happened to them, but that's part of the mindset that I've seen.

This is a good demonstration of the sound difference between the Shure SM58 and the Shure SM7b. Note that the SM58 (the one that Michael is using) has more emphasis on the high frequencies, and the SM7b has a thicker sound that leans toward bass. Of course the proximity effect (getting closer to the mic, resulting in increased bass resonse) can kick in on the SM58 if you get close to it. The SM7b was designed as a broadcast mic, so it gives a bigger, bassier sound. The SM58 was designed as a singer's microphone. It has a bit more definition because of the leaning toward the high end frequencies. About the content of this show, I like Chazz's question of why people would join the mob, knowing that it would either end with them in prison or being shot. That is the logical question. Well put. Michael answered it perfectly: ego, money, power and denial.
@Dustkey2 жыл бұрын
never in a billion years would I have expected to find audiophile comments in the mob related youtube scene! Hahah great stuff friend, you made my evening :)
@KenTeel2 жыл бұрын
@@Dustkey I'm glad that you found that bit about the type of microphones to be interesting. I'm a musician (singer/song writer/ performer), so I use microphones regularly. It's kind of a natural thing for me to look at gear. Chazz is an amazing guy. He seems to not only be talented, but wise because of his years of experience, and his intellect. I like listening to him talk. He had a focus on Italian Americans when he had Micheal Franzise on. When I think of guitar players (that's what I play) I think of the great Italian American guitar players. They are numerous and incredibly talented (Joe Pass, Jimmy Bruno, John Pizzarelli, Frank Vignola, etc.) Jimmy was my de facto jazz guitar teacher, through his videos. He's my favorite. He's a monster player. One of the best. PS: I went to your channel and listened to one of your songs. It's interesting. It's kind of etherial (very floating, sythesized, almost soft dance type music.) Nice work, there, my friend. I'll listen to more of them. If you're curious, I'll post a link to one of my, one man band songs. On this one I used an empty coffee can (stuffed with crumpled shopping bags, to damped the ringing sound), with drummer's wire brushes. I got tired of drum machine stuff and have been using hand percussion stuff. This is one of my original tunes. It's recorded using a GLS Audio, ES58 mic. I like the old crooner swing and bossa nova stuff. You can hear those element in my stuff. I gig at the wineries in Northern California, playing nothing but my original stuff. Thanks for taking the time to communicate. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hKOVknmAq7Flj6s

Hi! As a lawyer I am ashamed by prosecutors who skirt the rules. As officers of the court, our duty to the law is sacrosanct. One important tool that is available to the public (at least in Canadian provinces) is to file a complaint with the law society if a lawyer’s conduct is unethical.
