Was simply relaxing "me time". I'm not one who'll multitask after clicking on your video. Just doesn't work for me.

Popping in to say about houses and such, before social media we’d see maybe 10 houses (family, close friends, maybe a parent’s coworker for a bbq) and there was much less to compare with and much less chances of seeing a 1% unattainable mansion, and we were happy!! We see way more houses (and people, bodies, etc.) than back then and it helps me to remember that I wouldn’t ever actually see these in real life, I’m happy in my home and making it cozy and my ideal home!

You and your partner have a good financial mindset and it's a very good thing to talk about finances early on. You both will do good in life❤❤❤

I loved you answer at 41:33, we have to think about the cost of opportunity when taking a new job offer just because of better payment. Sometimes it’s not worth it. Thanks for the answer ✨

you answered my question ^o^ Zoe, you have positively impacted so many lives including mine. I feel like our lives have had so many parallels ( we are the same age, grinding through university to land a 9-5 job in the business field, getting let go around the same period in life, and currently pursuing a more free-lance type of work). You gave me the confidence and the "ok" to make this leap and it has made a world of a difference

Oh my gosh my husband and I are the same about budgeting! I love my meticulous budgeting and he just looks at the credit card. It helps us keep track of the card and make sure the money is going to the right places on the budget. Love it

Zoe, I can't begin to tell you how important your mission is: to inspire people to live a healthy and wealthy life ❤ thank you for that and for sharing your experience. I work in Tech and a lot of my friends and colleagues are getting laid off - it's been a tough couple of years. If you have an updated survival guide post being laid off, I think it would be awesome and super helpful

So glad you answered my question 😁 I am not even sure if I want kids but I think about children's privacy all the time!

Just sharing my thoughts on the kids online thing.. As a new mom, and with the rising use of AI, people can literally take your baby photos (assuming they're public), and use AI to create some very disgusting content for themselves. Like it's not actually your kid doing unimaginable things, but it was your kid's face used for someone else's weird fantasy, and for that reason I rather keep my child off socials.

For me personally, I know there’s never a time where Im probably going to drop everything and say Im ready for kids but I do think once I reach that point in my life that Im striving for, there will come a time when I will put my guard down and stop avoiding and resisting having a baby; so if it happens then it happens. Where I come from and grew up, they are more concerned about women having children early because they consider having kids past 27 too late. But honestly don’t live by society or my culture rules because I came from a struggling family and Im watching my family and others struggle while raising young kids because of the lack of income. Im so glad that I met women who had their first child in their 30’s and at a point in their lives where they had stability in their relationship, finances etc. I choose to do it differently. Struggling and lacking really traumatized me but Im growing and healing from that mindset. I just know that now, I am focused on working on me and building a solid foundation so that when the day comes, money isn’t something I worry about. I want to be a provider a much better life for my family because they don’t deserve to have to pay for my mistakes and mishaps of not being responsible. My struggle and upbringing has encouraged and motivated me to work towards being a better person and educating myself to do life differently. I actually think Im the only person in my family who thinks like this and cares based off our conversations. So I love talking with other like minded individuals because you help each other grow. I use to say I don’t want kids because they’re so expensive and I know because I have a godson who’s life I’m very present in and I help out with his expenses as well as my niece and nephews. So I am giving myself grace and compassion and applauding myself for choosing to prepare and plan for my kids before the time even comes. I not only want to be financially stable but i want to be present in their lives physically spiritually and emotionally. My fear of not wanting kids came from the fear of struggling and not being a good mom because I was afraid of passing trauma onto my kids(that happened to me as well) but knowing Im taking the steps toward healing and becoming better has changed my perspective

I am from a family of 4 kids, and we all get along. However, I don't think I could have that many kids myself (having seen how much work it was, my mom was a stay at home mom, but still I saw her put in a LOT of work).

I have been budgeting on and off for years now and this year I’m really focusing on that. My husband is not a budgeter and I’ve tried to get him to start, but he doesn’t seem to want to. Do you have any tips to get him interested? I love your content btw! 😊
@ZoePritchard13 сағат бұрын
@@Chrystallinaa i think a great way to get started would be to consume some money content together. Ramit’s show on Netflix is so fun to watch and will deff open up your husband’s eyes. The show is called I Will Teach You To Be Rich

Thanks for responding Zoe, that’s a great tip! I love that show! I think that’s a good start for him and I don’t think he has seen it yet.
31:29 I work in the wine industry, and I’ve noticed that some people act a bit funny when talking about wine. It’s like they think I’ll judge what they like, or they feel like they don’t know enough about wine to discuss it. It’s so funny to be seen as an 'expert' on a topic, lol
