Would graphic design be a good career to pursue given everything going on with AI and the fact that there’s a little of competition and job loss nowadays in the industry? I plan to study gd in uni this year so

In my opinion, I feel like the main thing I learned from graphic design was my critical thinking and problems solving, and I feel like those skills are universal across disciplines. In terms of AI, it is important to stay aware of the evolving job space to keep up with changes in the market, and try to be flexible with what you pursue (like exploring a breadth of design skills, softwares, and design career paths). Hope this is helpful!

I'd say it depends on what you want to study. I chose to go to a University vs an Art college because I was interested in getting a minor outside of Design. But art /design colleges are more specialized & have more specific types of classes!
