Generally speaking: better nursing ratio, overall less busy (bc I’m not in a big city). there’s also interesting substance use differences- used to see a lot more opioid use in NYC vs more methamphetamine use here in the west coast. Overall the medicine is the same but the practice environment is diff & it may all be because I’m not in a busy urban hospital anymore.
