Hannah, that advent calendar is really something and takes lots of work, obviously. Know the 25th went well for you, being with family. BTW, another jargon word I thought of is ‘points’, of course, as we know, is something to avoid, since they never are expunged. HAPPY NEW YEAR, my friend. Herman

Thanks for adding some extra words! The calendar is definitely more tricky the first few days just because there’s so many options, but with each day it’s a little easier to figure out. However there were a few days that threw me for a loop.

Out of curiosity I just started searching flight attendant vlogs. I wanted to see what a typical day was like. My wife and I always fly first class row 1 on American and the flight attendants are always hit or miss very few are super friendly and most have flat out been miserable. A couple flights back I can see the jump seats and the 2 girls were just laughing between themselves and taking selfies it was so annoying. I’ve noticed while watching a few that you can be tired and have a hectic schedule. We have a flight coming up on the 14th to Anu. We appreciate what you do and maybe see you on a future flight, we always give out gifts to the entire crew with a personal card attached as a thank you. Last gift was a Yeti travel mug filled with candy for each.

I’m sorry to hear you haven’t had great experiences. I wish I could say that was a fluke, but I’ve come across a lot of flight attendants throughout my career that don’t have the best attitudes. There are very few things we as flight attendants can control in this industry, so I try to at least control my attitude and keep it as positive as I can. Some days are definitely easier to be that way than others. That’s awesome that you give gifts when you fly! Such a sweet thing and I’m sure most flight attendants love receiving that token of appreciation from passengers. I know I do! Hopefully you get better crews for your future flights! If I’m ever on one of yours don’t hesitate to say hi!

Merry Christmas to you nd your family much love I worked Christmas day in the hospital on shift 6am to 3pm all good tho people still need my care I'm luck y I can go home from a shift nd others can't so my job is only good when I see people return home to there family's healthy ❤

Yeah it's amazing job but sad also for me cos I'm on a intensive care unit ward so it's hard at times I'm all good rho hope your well too hannah
