Thank you Megan 😄 to be honest, it’s very frustrating to me and a bit unfair for other students who are just starting, I wish they made it the way it was in past years with two opportunities to register.

Congratulations dear 🎊 🎊 🎊 I wanted to ask if u wil do all your remaining modules since we are going to combine both sem 1 and 2 modules 😭😭, I m feeling so drained thinking that I will do 10 modules that time m working will I even cope m so sad ey working in a lawfirm can be rough ey,, please provide tips dear on how to cope with 10 modules this year I really need motivation 😩😩😭

I’m definitely working on something as well because I’m also going to have to do all those modules this year so trust me when I say we all need the encouragement and the motivation to get through this year in one piece especially if you’re also working 🥲 All we need to do is push And find ways to organise our studies in such a way that we are able to cope

It’s really all about balance, discipline and knowing the reason why you want to study. I set reminders for myself on my phone to study, whether it be in the morning or later at night. Not saying it always works but try and keep a schedule and try sticking to it

Hey. I'm a new sub🎊 And I'm a third year law student at unisa, do you have any tips on landing a job at a law firm?

Hey yes, have a great looking CV as a first step Be prepared to apply for any role in the firm whether it is as a filing clerk receptionist or even vacation work. so for me it was slightly easier because while I was studying for my paralegal diploma we needed to apply at a law firm to do practicals for a minimum for f 120 hours. It was basically volunteer work but because I made sure to always be on time and be prepared to work they took a liking to my work ethic and hired me as a legal secretary and then once I graduated I became their paralegal. Be prepared to do the work, show a willing spirit and keep your foot in the door
