Great channel, I’m in the US but its my go to channel for the Legend, which is what i use because it hands down works, probably the best machine out there at the moment, I love 1.11. Some notes on the Xterra Pro, Ive had it for about 2 weeks. Great minelab tones, the silver tone is very nice, its deep, I suspect you will love it for the fact that you’re in fairly clean fields, like you say, clean ground is pretty easy for any machine, the Vanquish was great in a clean farm field where the targets were spaced out quite a lot. Build quality is good, i like the magnetic charger. It’s capable of going very deep from what i have found. A couple things I dislike.. 1. Volume, its not high enough on a windy day to hear, add in a little traffic and its unusable, yes you can use wired headphones but we know what a hassle that is. 2. This relates to all manufacturers really.. is shipping these machines that are geared toward beginners (Simplex included) with enormous coils. The first place someone new to the hobby (especially in the US) goes is their local park which is littered with trash and the huge coil will only frustrate someone who doesn’t know how to deal with it yet, separation is king in the trash. 3. The XTP does not come with headphones, by the time you buy the ML85 and a smaller coil (unless you have a Nox already) you’re almost at the price of a Legend. Anyway, looking forward to what you think of the XTP when you get your hands on it. I only follow 2 non-US channels, yours and Dukes of Derbyshire, although not as much simply because i dont have a D2, would like to see him use a Legend, I think he would be surprised at how good it is. The Legend is indeed a bad ass machine for example my house been pounding by myself my son and a gentleman that MD before I bought it in 96 I found a lot of wheat penny s and a 1820 English copper holed but no Indian heads s no silver at all until my boy got a 1900 Barber half in my front yard 24 inches a barley a chirp vdi reading 50 to 53 bouncing a tad but I have solid clay living by Lake Erie and it’s been a problem for many people with Erosion I was a little upset all those years I rode my lawn tractor over it lol and he also found a 1922 French coin it’s looks like a gold coin beautiful coin it was only 6 inch’s I walked over that coin a million times and he got a silver nickel l am happy through I got a beautiful sterling silver ring in my front yard about 6 inches the legend doesn’t miss much I can tell you this we been killing it with it at beat up parks until we get back to are permissions the old virgin farmer fields the last time my son pulled a seated quarter from one of the fields we just started it the first day me and him pulled out 15 horse and human buckles we all no how good. Those solid copper and brass soy so good so now hopefully we can start pulling out the old coins lol

Definitely not a knob my brother! Straight shooter you are. I'm excited for the ultra. I have had so much success with the first generation simplex for over 3.5 years and absolutely love that machine. With the extra features the ultra has, it will be an incredible machine! Just the 15khz and recovery speed adjustment alone will make a huge difference, then being able to adjust tone break is even more appealing. Wicked happy hunting!

Nokta is killing it. Looks like they addressed the jumpy IDs. Minelab released the x-terra pro to compete against the simplex. Looks like it competes very well against the old simplex, has even more jumpy IDs. Nokta moved forward. Minelab moved backwards.

But If you just lower the Sensitivity down to a reasonable number and I have mine set at 12 Sensitivity and now that I have done it the jumpy VDI is only present when I get a Junk Target And I have dug a few up just to make sure it wasn't something else but it's been right on and telling me that there's a Junk Target there and I also am using the All Metal Mode and on the X-Terra Pro it's not a Single Tone like that of the Simplex Ultra and the Simplex + and possibly the whole Simplex lineup and after using it for telling me about the target and I'm amazed at how quickly I can get to the All Metal Mode on the X-Terra Pro it's a 1 Button Push and the Simplex it's a 5 button push and the single tone AND a different Program and I still Had to dig it up but not with the X-Terra Pro and I can walk on and not be wondering about the target and the X-Terra Pro and the jumpy VDI is a blessing to me and I Coin Shoot and Not Digging Up ALOT of Junkyard of Target's like I was doing with the Simplex + and it's on the Discontinued Detector List as of 2021 and it's not that Old 😮..... and I have Now traded the Simplex for a Equinox And I'm celebrating and it's the First time to ever owned a Minelab Detector's X-Terra Pro was first and then the Equinox 600 and the Coins to Trash Ratio with the X-Terra Pro is over the top, compared to the Simplex and it's Junk Quarter Tone Targets that kept me busy enough digging up just to find out that IT'S A JUST JUNK TARGET DETECTOR SIMPLEX + AND I HEAR From the video of the Simplex Ultra and the guy says that he is digging up ALOT of target's that sounds good but it's not that but JUNK....... Edit And I'm only half way thru the video and I think he's digging more trash Targets than Coin's 🤔🤔🤔.....

​​@@uk-en6rmJust lower the Sensitivity down and there's no need to be at Full Sensitivity without any kind of ground Feedback and I don't know of any kind of Detector that will be going Full Blast 24/7 and have consistent results of the Single Frequencies Detector.... and the X-Terra Pro is a Single Frequencies but multiple single Frequencies and then the Notka Macro Product's Lineup is that and I Had a good permission that the Simplex + couldn't handle it and the EMI Problem's and that I had to stop going to those Parks with the highest EMI interference and the Notka Macro says that I have to do a frequency shift and that was a great joke and Lower the Sensitivity down to about nothing and it was still chatting away and not even close enough to a target......

Looks alright that does, tones sound slightly better too. Simplex has never been a machine I've been overly fond of, but I always said its the best value metal detector on the market and now it just got improved. Seems like Nokta and Minelab chucking machines and kit out left right n centre

It’s all about the 💰 💴 , same machines just improved on , milking the cow bit , like iPhone 8s 8c etc . Good for us users though , keep well bud 🧑‍🦯💪🏻

The legend is one hell of a machine my son found a Chinese coin that is possibly a few centuries old are older found it in a area that we hit hard with simplex and the minelab vanquish 340 and the 440 on many occasions and those machines never seen it my son said the Legend smashed it at a solid 33 all around at 7 inches it’s possible it’s are oldest coin yet

Are you pretty satisfied with the Nokta pin pointer? I’ve never tried one. I use the Garrett pro pointer, but get a lot of interference.

Not used the xtp but I know people that have used both and say the ultra is the better choice. You have 3 settings for depth ID low medium and high . With All detectors loose stability at depth , the ultra gives you an option to have more stability at shallower and deeper items

The only problem with the X-Terra Pro is Everyone Wants to get the Full Sensitivity without any kind of ground Feedback and that's why the Jumpy VDI and I have the X-Terra Pro and I run it At 12 Sensitivity and then when I get a Jumpy VDI I know that it's a JUNK Target And the Coin's will really sound off and I have dug up some of the jumpers and the X-Terra Pro was right 👍 on and it's a JUNK Target And I also use the All Metal Mode on the X-Terra Pro and it's a 1 Button Push to turn it on and then the Simplex + and the Simplex Ultra it's a 5 button push and also a single tone And a totally different programs and on the X-Terra Pro it's a Added Feature to the X-Terra Pro and I also have the All Tone's on and I can hear the Iron Grunts and the Coin Tone's At the same time, but it's not that way when I was using the Simplex + and the Simplex Tone's is just a single tone for the All Metal Mode and it's like using the Threshold and I still Had to dig it up just to carry around more Iron Quarter's Tone Targets and then the X-Terra Pro is out and it's a different Detector that is better than what others are saying about it.....

Look out for a video of the quest q35 next week. I’ll be showing what features it has. It has 3 frequencies at £339 which includes earphones , 3 selectable frequencies 5,13,21 , (low, med, high ) it could be a ultra and xtp beater. A better range of frequencies than the xtp

@@HistoryRevisiteduk But the X-Terra Pro has 4 Frequencies of 5-8-10-15 and I will be there watching the Quest video and hopefully you will be able to get the X-Terra Pro Soon and then you can see the New Technology and I don't know why I waited over the Years of not getting a New Minelab Detector but NOW that I have one and Now 2 Minelabs Detector's and I have traded the Simplex + for the Equinox 600, Third Owner , and I was a fan of Notka Macro Product's until I went to the Website for a Update to help with the EMI Problem's that It has and only too see that the Simplex is now on the DISCONTINUED Detector List as of 2021 and I Had no idea and I was using it just 6 months ago and until I got the News and then the X-Terra Pro was coming out and I didn't hesitate and bought the X-Terra Pro and I haven't looked back Since and the Simplex is Gone....... and Minelab Detector's are a Different Game Changer Detectors.....

It’s very painful to see the original simplex obsolete now I had almost a Grand in with coils

And They have already Discontinued it and it was put on the list as of 2021 and it is only 2 years old when they put it on the Notka Macro Product's Discontinued Detector List and it's now 4 years old and I don't have my Simplex + Anymore and I have a email from Notka Macro Product's that says I need to do a frequency shift for the EMI Problem's that It was having and that's been done and Nothing worked out and until I got rid of it and I have the X-Terra Pro and it's a totally different Detector that I love ❤️❤️ and it's going to be a Top End Detector if the people that are using it understand that the Full Sensitivity isn't needed to get the targets and I'm getting Targets that are in the 6-8 inches deep and I'm at 12 Sensitivity 😮😮😮😮.....
