I’m sorry for the environment he got in. It’s not bad as he depicts in this video. I love working in care homes and I have been working in a care home for 2 months now here in the UK.I can never ask for a better work environment than where I’m at. Good pay, peaceful working envt , paid breaks, free lunch, ... I understand work can get monotonous but I love it for now. I worked as a Medical ICU nurse before coming here and I don’t like to go back to clinical settings atm. Do your work right, use your judgement and report to the manager right away if any unusual things happens. One of my friend works in NHS and she is not happy with her pay when I told her the pay I’m currently getting. There was a huge difference. I hope it’s not the same with all the NHS trust.Cheers 👏🏻

Nice video, but I dont think it's the same pay even if the working hours in the nursing home is reduced because it's the high hourly pay rate that leads to the high monthly income. The difference in hourly pay rate between NHS and care home is at least £4 per hour

Some care homes provide good induction as well and assess competencies before letting you do...maybe the fault was from your care home..and not a general thing....

Pay cannot be the same.. you are generalising so much and its not good for a public view. Maybe you worked in a wrong place. I work in a care home and we have one or two nurses with 4 or 5 carers in a floor. The hourly pay rate is not the same so no matter the hours contracted it can never be the same. If u earn £8 per hr n I earn £15 even if we both work for only 5hrs it can nva be the same.

@abakahsaeed62913 жыл бұрын
You don't have to be depressed dear. Go to the job portal of the NHS and apply directly. They will sort you out. Better still agencies like ENS/TTM recruit to Northern Ireland which is also part of the UK. Link to site: www.jobs.nhs.uk
