Arguably IRS and IA&AS are the best jobs for 95% of the aspirants. Even IFS, but sadly most of them don't try to learn about these and just follow IAS like fools which is a quite hectic and a political job, which also involves posting in so many distant areas.

@@virtualrealistic6242 IAAS has better promotion and poor transfer policy (frequent transfers no stability) IRS has poor promotion but more stability you can stay in one station for decades. rest work life balance, perks is same
