Yes... The main thing I learnt from this video is that for fulfilling just one aspect of life one cannot afford or should not afford to sacrifice all the aspects of their life! Because ultimately it's not worth it... It's like killing your actual potential. In your own mind you think that you achieved everything in life you desired by hyper-focusing on your professional life but that's actually not the case, when you really realise it.... You should know about things that are out of your domain and capitalise on that. Work smartly for your own benefit... 🙂👍

It's absolutely true what Sir has told in this video, right now I am 39 years of age, had worked earlier with very good company at descent position but unfortunately I had to leave that company because of some reasons. I had given my valuable 8 years for growth if that company and I was just asked to leave. Now I am working with another company with low designation but I am relatively happy as I am also able to do my other stuffs which are more important to me and I enjoy time with my family as well 🎉

I did exactly this when I was becoming a workaholic obsessed with ambitions academically and professionally Surprisingly despite strengthening of family bonding as I spent quality time with children and wife as I put my academic and professional ambitions to second place ,I was constantly successful It’s very important to schedule according to your age and situation There’s no formula or proportion,you have to use your sense and shift gears as per need But one thing is clear give priority to your self and family

Aap ne shabdo mein bahut coherently woh baat bata di jo mein ne saalon pehle apne job me mehsoos kiya tha - ke kaam karte karte machine ban jaye aur zindagi 'jeene' ke liye kuch bhi apne paas bacha na ho to aise kaam karne ka kya matlab hai. Aaj aap ke baaton ko sunkar bahut santosh mehsoos kar raha hu. Ek baar ek IITian se mila tha kareeb 22-23 saal pehle. Bataya ke uske cousin brother (jo hardly 20s mein tha tab) jhadoo ka business hai - mahine me 1.5-2 lakh kama leta hai! Aur yahan itni gheesne ke baad bhi log aksar waha pahuch nahi paate. Aur pahuchte hai to bhi kya kimat chukake. Aur pahuch bhi gaye toh kya bharosa kab tak rahe ya na rahe. Aap ko phir se shukriya ye baat itna spasth karke batane ke liye 🙏🏻

Sir, WOW, this is the best video of yours and even from the whole lot of videos on real life stuff available on internet. I realised this info in my mid-life and as a life Coach I have been saying this too ever since but it isn’t received too well because of the exact reason of the indoctrination you’re talking about, of constantly being in motion -- “do more”, “be more”, “have more”!! people who are following this concept blindly without any self reflection are so so unhappy!

The problem is there is a huge disconnect between Economy and returns from a Job, the system is designed to push people in the rut, any career break is considered a "crime", in reality there is no job security in today's private jobs and almost every one changes job every few years, even relocating to multiple cities, in a few years these guys realise that their career is stagnated and there is no growth and they're a slave to the system. They lose social capital, financial capital, health, fail to invest in the right areas of life
@albussd Жыл бұрын
This is what I have always felt in my life. I've always felt differently from the people around me. Everyone around me is hell bent on "making it big" in jobs. I see jobs as a soul-sucking arrangement in which you think you are/ you will be getting a lot (money) but actually it's a moving target and in the process you lose so much. Think about it - you work in a system like a tenant. You get a monthly salary as long as you work. The moment you stop working, your income stops. So, you cannot stop even if your health suffers because you cannot afford to stop. And all of this takes a huge chunk out of your day ( at least 10 hours if your commute to work is not too long). It's a crazy way, to be honest. But people are running and spending 30-40 years of their life. And they will keep doing so.

Sir, this video contains an important piece of advice. I used to discuss along similar lines around 20 years back in college with a close friend. We named it the "Pass Marks" guideline. Just as one cannot go to the next class without securing a minimum in all subjects, similar is the case in life. It is okay to be good at something. But it is not okay to fail anywhere. Essentially, this is about seeking balance in life.
