I love how Case likes to include chat in the games he plays, but listen... for the Sims you need to do your own thing and play it your way. Too many different opinions will make the game unenjoyable. Hey Caseoh, I’ve been playing The Sims for a long time, and there’s nothing more I’d like than to help you out. It’s a bit painful to watch you struggle, especially when chat isn’t being very helpful, so here are a few tips that might make things easier: • Wall Visibility: The icon in the top right corner with two walls and a floor adjusts how many walls you want to be shown. You can choose to have no walls, some walls (though it’s random which ones), or all walls shown. This applies to both Live Mode and Build Mode. • Camera Controls: The camera icon on the top right lets you adjust the view. In Live Mode, you can choose between the Sims 3 camera and the Sims 4 camera. I suggest sticking with the Sims 4 camera. In Build Mode, you can use the Sims 3, Sims 4, or Bird’s Eye View (press ‘T’). If you’re using the Sims 3 camera, pressing the ‘Ctrl’ button while moving up and down lets you tilt the camera. • Sims at Work: When your Sims are at work, you can go to their icon in the bottom left corner, click the two little people, and choose options like “Work Hard,” “Socialize,” and more. • Pregnancy Test: After you WooHoo, you can have Katrina take a pregnancy test if you haven’t already. Click on her character icon to switch control to her sim, then click on the toilet, and the option should appear. • Gallery Builds: For nice builds that are budget-friendly, go to the gallery and search for “lilsimsie” under EA accounts. She has some cool residential lots and builds on her profile. • Moving the House: To move the house, click the plus/cross icon in Build Mode (in the middle of the screen), and then click the house icon underneath the move button. Make sure the house icon is selected (it should be green) After that, click on the actual house itself. You’ll see the undo, redo, and the plus/cross sign appear next to the house, allowing you to move and rotate it. You had it the last time, you just needed to click the move button. • Free Placement: If you want to place objects more freely, press the Alt key while placing them. Yes he is making money from his videos but that does not mean that chat should dictate every single thing. A similar thing happened with Markiplier whilst he was trying to play Undertale. People would not SHUT UP about how he should play it and that ruins the enjoyment of the game for the person playing it. The sims is ABOUT doing basically whatever YOU want. It is painful to see him give up a house HE Liked just because the chat was not happy with it. Also seeing this made me not want to watch this episode because of how Caseoh let chat play the game for him which is too painful to watch. Something like that ruins the experience for other people watching and even worse, the person trying to play the game itself.

@@shinykakuna2737thanks to a glitch in my game, I can attest that they just stand at the spawn point, invisible, until work ends. My game glitches so if I leave the lot with another sim and return the sim at work is no longer hidden. And I can actually see them standing there frozen at the spawn point outside the house until their shift ends haha

Btw all the jobs in the Sims 4 are rabbit holes aka they're just invisible places your sim goes to. Katrina wasn't cheating and chat was lying about where she works. You would have to buy the "get to work" expansion pack to go to actually see your sim work but it's only for 3 jobs - detective, doctor, or scientist. Also the "get famous" pack, you can go to work with your sim through the actor career (which is pretty fun imo).

Chat telling you how to play the game even though they haven't is rude, and it just ruins your experience. I also saw that you had some trouble with build mode (chat wasn't helpful at all) so here's some tips and controls for build mode Controls VV Click: place Click+drag: rotate, then place Left alt: free move / free rotate, then place Brackets: scale up/down 0 / 9: raise and lower items F5: quarter building increments Ctrl+shift+C: open/close cheats menu Tips VVV 1 Use the cheat menu and type bb.moveobjects to place objects anywhere, this can help so that you can save as much space as possible in tight areas 2 Use the furniture icons on the bottom left to easily navigate between categories. The chair in a room button lets you see items made for specific rooms, the chair button lets you browse all items in subcategories. The box is your build mode inventory 3 Don't listen to chat, because they have no idea what they are doing and they are unintentionally (?) just messing you up

When Case bought the Trailer Park he bought it completely out of his instinct. Like Streamer Instinct. He knew he could make this fun and enjoyable and entertaining for the millions of viewers. It was a decision made completely naturally and it was the only purchase he made without listening to "chat". It was the best purchase of the day and it was the best part of the video. And it was a best laugh I had watching a KZbin Gamer. The horrible crowd in the chat decided to be "mother-in-law-uber-Lilith" and had to kill the fun. The worst kind of chat there is. Case, the sims is whatever you make it out to be. You have endless options for your storyline that you can do that shouldn't involve the chat in my opinion. If you like a house you should get it, if you want a different job you should go ahead and get a new one. "i'm about to start tweaking" - is clicking every single button on the screen and keyboard EXCEPT the rotate arrows. - For future reference Case, click 'Move House' and click the house. It'll show the left pointing arrow, the cross-like arrows, and the right pointing arrow. The pointing arrows are for rotating the house, the cross-like arrow is for moving the house on the lot. As long as you click 'move house' and not 'move lot', you can adjust the house to be front facing

case although i haven’t been watching for more than 4 months, you’ve genuinely have become my favourite content creator of all time. i watch you daily, your content helps get through some rough patches i face since graduating high school and feeling lost all the time. i could never thank you enough for it. it is clear that you prioritize listening to your audience and have them take part within making decisions and that’s what makes you so unique from most streamers. but i’ve noticed recently that the chat becomes very upset whenever they don’t get their way and leading you into situations that they know are not going to end well. it is so important that you stand up for yourself whenever chat becomes this toxic. it makes me angry when i see people talking to you like that constantly because i can tell you are genuine and want to make people happy. your real supporters will stay true to you even if you advocate for yourself and go against the chat’s decisions. love you man, you deserve so much better.
