In my head-canon, the house belonged to the ghost when she was alive (which is why it's so fancy and she gets the nice bedroom), and she has allowed the other occult sims to live there as tenants because it's hard to maintain property when you're dead

as much as i want fairies i really want the mermaids to get a revamp before they do that. i just feel like the sims forget about their old packs and just moves on instead of fixing things. people have paid money for these things it’s not fair for packs to be half arsed or even broken sometimes “cough cough wedding stories” before they jump into a new things and everyone is spending more money.

they implied they’d start revamping old packs (and even released one-spa day) but it isn’t profitable enough for them :/ the sims team might want to do that for sims players who deserve the $40 price tag worth of content, but EA most likely wouldn’t let them invest in that if it didn’t make them as much money as making more, new content. capitalism yipee!

When I was playing Sims regularly, I created a save for Supernaturals. The idea was that each supernatural was in control of one world and they stayed out of each other's territory which was interesting when the game would generate one of my supes from another world to walk through the reigning supes world. When this happened, I would create a fight or flight situation where the wandering supe was forced out of town. It was fun.

I've seen others comment this and i agree: As much as i get the whole "dont use every single pack cuz not all viewers have everything", i think you should have the freedom to do builds where you just go wild. Ignore the budget, ignore not using all the packs. Go big, go wild and dont limit yourself. Especially for builds like this one it would be perfect😊

I had so much fun watching this video and imagining all of these weird people living together 😂😂 Imagine if they're all trying to, like, watch TV and then pipe organ music starts playing and everyone's like "oh my, Alice is at it *again* 🤦🤦" Or then one day they're coming back home at the evening and they sense a really gross smell and it comes from the attic so they sort someone to go and see what's going on and the spellcaster (don't remember his name) is like "sorry sorry I was trying to make everyone some Mac n cheese for dinner but I messed up 😖" and the others are like "in the cauldron?? You know we've got a kitchen right??" Alice has the dead lilies on her room and someone asks "why would you keep them tho" and she hisses "IT'S FOR THE AESTHETICS"

I can see the whole story: The ghost lady was the original owner of the villa dedicating her whole life to building it - which was very unusual back in her time (considering the period dress) so she was kind of an outcast. Unfortunately she died by the time her home got "done" so she stayed back to enjoy it, that's why she's still here. But the afterlife became lonely for her especially because she was haunting the house so nobody wanted to move in....EXCEPT other outcasts, the other occults. Living together is not the easiest for them but they keep together because it's still nice to belong somewhere and be accepted. :D
