Kirba bhai ne jis paththar ki baat ki usey petrified stone ya fulgurite kehte hain. Koi bhi cheez pe jab bijli takrati hai toh ussey ek reaction hota hai aur wo stone jaisa (petrified) ho jaata hai, chaahe wo paed ho ya chattan. In fact, the word 'petrify' comes from 'petra' jiska matlab rock hota hai aur iske proto Indo-European roots hain. Sanskrit ke 'prastara' aur Latin ka 'petra' ka same source mana jaata hai.

Hi Deepanshu... nice seeing your vlogs. I am a chakma too, but never been there.. Regarding our script, it's actually borrowed from Tamil way back in 3rd Century from Falcipuram in Southeast Asia. Infact, Burmese, Thai, Indonesian and Cambodian also borrowed from Tamil ( which is one of the oldest script and language in the world). Thanks for showing the beauty and the hardships there... enjoy your stay Patturu turu. And hope u celebrated Bizu with the Chakmas (which is akin to Bihu, Vishu, Baisakhi or the new year in the Lunar Calendar

French aur English East India Company ne cultural conversion par zyaada focus kiya rather than religious conversion, and it worked. Which was the same that English did with Native Americans. They brought gifts, learnt our culture and told us how their culture is superior and they should be our "masters". They called us savages and pagan.
