Ravan was a Bhramin who was extremely capable and intelligent, he was a master of all vedas, one of the biggest devotees of Lord Shiva, he had several vardans from Shiva including his 10 heads and all his weapons. My personal opinion is that there is no need of one central rule for all neighbouring countries which were a part of Akhanda Bharat. Let there be independent Government, but let us be united and bonded by culture. Like Nepal there should be no passport to travel to Sei Lanka too, just like European Union. India and China have different mode of Governance. India is democracy. Namaste

@@byron-ih2ge Yes! Shrii Vishnu is also known as "Shrii Utpalavarna" among Sinhala people. "Utpala" means lotus. "Varna" means colour. There is a very famous Hindu temple in Sri Lanka, Shrii Utpalavarna Vishnu devaalaya. However, Tamil people mostly worship Shiva deva.
