One of the best lessons in Job is how much more a Christian’s response to adversity impacts those around him rather than his response to good fortune and blessings.

The last 3 years have been very tough for our family. We had a pastor at our previous church pull us aside and tell us that because circumstances weren't improving, that clearly we were in sin or doing something wrong; he also mentioned that it could be something as "simple" as "not having enough faith." That absolutely devastated us. After studying this with your video, I now see how very wrong that theology is!! I feel SO much better, and am going now to share with my husband. Thank you.

Sounds like prosperity gospel theology. Avoid it like the plague.

Well, for a breakthrough understanding of the Book of Job, read the Novel “Where Fo We Go Now, LORD? - Burke.” Are church & seminary leaders open to higher ground? No? Moses was! Be like Moses? Enjoy the breakthrough.

People think I'm crazy, because I thank GOD that I got a cancer that promises to return. The average return is 12 yrs later. I'm at year 6. That means, likely, I only have six years left to HAVE to be here on this planet. I'm looking forward to being Permanently Retired from breathing.

Job 4:12 and following. "Test the spirits." - 1 John 4. Eliphaz has researched it and maybe even prayed about it, therefore he thinks that he knows the answer.
