Oh Nastaran, you are living my dream. I fell in love with the Big Island when I was there in 2017. I've been to the other islands before, but there is something about the energy there that holds on to my Spirit. I've never experienced that before. I was there again last year, and I didn't want to leave. Keep doing the videos, I do enjoy them and love seeing all the beauty and feeling the peace. I have to admit, it's a bit bittersweet for me. I miss the Mana Pahoa holds. Mahalo🌺

Aloha Donna, and thank you for your comment. You are so right about the energy of the island. I totally felt it first time I came here, and actually cried when I left and felt like I was home. The mana is incredible. I truly appreciate you watching.

@@Nastaran.Battles Me too! It is magical. I was there last January/February. My dream is to retire on B.I. but I think I have to rent, I won't have a lot of cash. Are there long-term rentals or for sale by owners? That's what I would need. Love your content. Mahalo for sharing with us, Nastaran.

Mahalo Nastaran, thanks for sharing, I loved your video, the Japanese garden and coconut island. Just to let you know I used to be a banana processor. One day I will return to Hawaii for my 2nd time, so until then keep making those wonderful videos. Thank you! Aloha 😊

Aloha to you Carl. Interesting that you were a banana processor. Recently I watched a video where this gentleman harvested his own bananas and I learned how to cut each side of the trunk a little bit to gently lower the bananas. So I was grateful to learn a better way. I bet you know all those tricks. Hope you get to visit again. Mahalo for watching.

Nasta, I think that your approach to things is pretty much spot on. I like the idea of being aware if you are putting yourself at risk. The Buddhist practice would be to keep your attention on the awareness. I’m sorry that you suffer from anxiety, but it seems you’ve developed or are developing healthy coping skills. I feel at times that I myself live in a bubble, other times I choose to engage with the world. Often , since I am alone, crave to be immersed with others, yet I also understand that the world can be cruel and dangerous. Such is the path we must endure and travel. Some people are kind and compassionate, others callous and obdurate. It seems to me that most people are just faking it. Cudo’s to you for putting it out there and being real. I’m glad that Hawaii is a healing place for you. I’m sure along with what you already mentioned about the healing aspects, that the pigs help too. They are just so cute, so I’m wondering how friendly they are? If you had enough property, and they felt safe, do you think that they would hang around and become regulars? They look like they could be good companions. Aloha 🤙🏽🖖🏽

What a beautiful comment. I appreciate you taking the time to write it. I enjoyed reading your take on anxiety and coping skills. I do enjoy engaging with the world but I have a strong boundary when the negative energy outweighs the positive. The pigs truly bring such enjoyment to my life. I know most people here are not a big fan of them. I was told to be careful and they could be aggressive, so I have kept my guard up but also understand that they have different temperaments and have personalities. They naturally scared of people, but I know some people have adopted them as pets so they can become pets. Thank you again for watching.

@@Nastaran.Battles You’re welcome! I like to watch and ask questions, because I might be moving to the Big Island in a year or two. At 63 my concern is heath care on the islands. I have Kaiser and I understand that if you have a problem they fly you to Oahu, but I’m not sure if they have enough doctors or services there. If I change from Kaiser I’ll need to research who the providers are on the islands, but it doesn’t sound like they have enough nurses and doctors period. I see that you had to fly back to the mainland to get orthopedic work done and have heard of similar stories. I’ll need to find out all the details and make a decision. Aloha!

Aloha❤ What do you like to use to deter the mosquitoes when you work in the yard?
@Nastaran.Battles11 күн бұрын
@@ashapickard7866 I must be used to mosquitoes as it usually doesn’t bother me too much but I know other people use repellents and avoid having any sitting body of water that attracts mosquitoes. When we lived in Oahu it was really hard to be in the garden or the jungle, but big island is a lot less issue in my opinion.
