After completing her last round of radiation Shonel reflects back on the whirlwind of the last 12months and contemplates what the future looks like.
LIFE ON STANDBY is a 9 part docu series that follows the journey of Shonel. A successful stylist, wife and mother of two children diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer at 36.
We take an intimate and unique look through Shonel’s own eyes as she juggles treatment, family, covid and the emotional strain that comes with cancer.
However what makes this story truly remarkable is we get to witness her full recovery, to the point where she is now cancer free!
The series documents her incredible spiritual experience that explores the levels of human spirit through healing all aspects of health, overcoming immense fear and being propelled forward by hope, strength and love in a bid to save her life.

I was reading an article and according to this same article it says In the early hours of Friday, January 21, 2022, Shonel passed away at home with her husband Luke by her side. Her family says: "She went peacefully and calmly, just as she wanted."

Thank you. You are the reason I feel strength and hope. You are the reason I'm going to beat this cancer. I searched and searched for someone else in Australia with TNBC that beat it. And I finally found you. I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer a week and half ago. I'm 29 and a single mum of 1 beautiful 22 month old. It's grade 3, it's massive, I start chemo next week. I can't wait to be another success story with you. I live in northern NSW, and the covid outbreaks are happening in areas I am supposed to be going for treatment and I'm scared, I'm scared for me and my daughter and my family, but I know I can do this. I hope I can be what you have been for me for someone else handed this horrible card. Thank you again.

@@prasanbhusal thank you for asking. I am okay. I have completed 14 out of 16 rounds of chemo. So just 2 to go. It's been tough, but my cancer is responding and I am making it through ok. Thank you so much for asking it's really kind of you. I appreciate it.

@@prasanbhusal well I did 12 weekly paclitaxel treatment, at the same time i did carboplatin every 3 weeks, 4 times. Now i am on doxorubucin and cyclophosphamide every 2 weeks, 4 times.
