I’m stoked you’re chasing your dreams, Till! It seems daunting, the barn project-a “one step at a time” type venture, I see. And having had a freak snowstorm that dropped about 3 inches of snow (bizarre and very stymying for north Mississippi), I commend you and your young family for braving the frigid elements. What is the history of all the barns / buildings being painted red? Thanks for sharing and enjoy the snow...

I assume because the first painting attempts were rust based paint and it stayed a tradition :) the blue doors are specific to our village :)

May I add some words linked to the colours? The red colour was cheap and easily accessible «those days. «. You can experience the same in Sweden also. There is a long standing tradition to paint the barns, sheds and other 𝘜𝘵𝘩𝘶𝘴 with the iron- red colour. The white colour was expensive and only used for the main house. Hey Till, as a local, do you know how many months per year a foreigner (EU citizen) could spend travelling in Norway? I read that only 3 months per year is allowed but it will be great if you can advise. Great video! Thanks a lot for your magical content 💛💛💛

Hei Vicky ⛰️ 3 months is correct! 6 with work so I guess working in a summer position would be the easiest to make a bit of money and stay longer 🐺
