Wow, thx for this pure view over your shoulders, such an epic trip! While now I'm happily married with two small childrens and therefore other challenges, this video gave me some great memories to the road- and outdoor-trips that i was privileged to do with my brother througout norway in the past... for me the most beautiful country i've ever seen. Also, could you give us an update on your weight after that trip? Guess you've burned some calories ;-)

@@tilldaling That is actually really great. Several years ago I was following a long distance hiker online because I was learning things from his methods, and it was interesting to me the type of gear he carried, but he packed lightly. I have always packed comparatively heavy. And I was not completely sold on his ideas of ultralight hiking, like cutting spoons in half and not carrying a toothbrush. To me, that was just over the top. But I finally stopped watching him the day that 2 feet of snow made him turn back. It was because he was just in shorts and a T-shirt and a 5 pound pack. No gear for snow, even though it was expected. People like that risk becoming a danger to themselves and others around them and putting search and rescue teams at an unnecessary risk. I’ve always felt that packing heavier might slow you down, but you will be better prepared for when the shit hits the fan.

But where is this "hidden" feature ? I see none, as all controls on top of the camera are clearly visible. Then, no... Sony cameras do not come with semi-automatic mode "Aperture priority" as a default mode. At all. You have a control wheel, and you are free to choose your mode from all four A/P/S/M and an "i" for full automation. Nothing is set by default.
