I listened to him sing that Somali song but his Somali sounds non-native. There are people from the neighboring countries of Somalia who seek asylum claiming to be Somali. I be willing to go as far as say this guy is not Somali but I’d urge other Somalis watching this documentary to make your judgement. His Somali just sounded unnatural to me.

@ Runtii ma rabin in aan qarxiyo but clearly the guy is not Somali. He is one of those Ethiopians that spent time in Somaliland or Puntland working there. He learned to sing along with Somali songs but even though he learned you can detect the accent. He has a big Somali accent.

Leaves me thinking if even his name is salah beacuse his sure is not somali..he learnt that few lines of the song when he was housed up with somalis in libya..but i wish him the best you got to hustle to get a better life..he will be going back to visit his homeland to see his family when he finishes the asylum process and gets his passport
