I love thrift shopping but i also have pieces of clothing i've been wearing for 15 or 20 years. Sometimes i modify them as needed. I agree about the consumption bit. I just put together a new shelf thing to display my shoes on (mainly Converse lol) and i miss buying a new pair (i haven't since 2018) but i also usually end up wearing mostly the same things. From someone who once travelled Canada with 5 or 6 suitcases, last year i had 3, in 2021 i'm taking only one...
