I'm so glad I've built a group of sisters we've been friends for almost 5yrs and we treat our friendships like romantic relationships, we care for each other emotionally, resolve issues with communication and I'm glad we r growing together and pushing other to be better every day😊

I love having conversations like this. I have 2 female friends but we aren't as deep as i'd want us to be and i recently met a new friend and I'm looking forward to growing my friendship with her, aside those 3 female friends, i only have my mom and my sisters. I have quite a number of male friends and i will keep toping the list because there's just something about having male friends that's so comforting as well. I'm also looking forward to expanding my scope of knowledge as i try to be as open minded as possible and i know this would really help my KZbin channel I don't want to miss out in anything important in my 20's and I'm glad i still have a number of years before 30 to do a lot more things. I would definitely try hiking very soon, probably before the year runs out. You're doing great as a mother and a creator

I’m currently 22 and every point you said here 🥹 I’m currently in a tough spot in my life right now, if I want to type everything this comment will be really long. As we enter the second quarter of the year I pray God helps me and that I really step out of my comfort zone too and try out new things, I pray he blesses my channel bc currently that’s the only thing I’m holding onto. You’re also really inspiring, I’m currently in search of a job and by Gods grace I will be getting one as a hotel receptionist, seeing you do it I know I will do it and thrive with my KZbin on the other hand too.

I’m 29 and next year 30😫😫😫 I have learnt a lot with regrets too. I wish I did alot but I guess this journey is part of learning too. Just listening to you speak on friends and I can hear a lot of “avoidance is better than a bad outcome” and that’s not so ideal. When you’re younger and open to it, you will meet a lot of different people outside of what you could’ve been used to in high school and it’s not always good to avoid the so called “bad influences” that you’re used to. In your early 20s don’t forget that these people are young too and probably finding themselves but I think the foundation to making friends/acquaintances is knowing yourself esp your dealbreakers and go out with an open mind. Your friend is not you and you are not them and the differences make you unique. And people are always going to judge you based on what they see and it’s not always true, avoiding someone because of what people might think of you is not ideal. Remember the kind of people Jesus was drawn to. Don’t only go out there with a “what can I get” mentality but also “what can I offer”. Be open to meet different personalities but also you don’t have to stay with people that burn you out socially. That was what worked for me and I think it could work for others too. Meeting people, you never know who might be useful one day even if it’s not as friends. Always be friendly but stand your ground as who you are or plan to be.

Everything you said certainly makes sense lady. Personally I don't feel that I feel like there's anything as time wasted. You can plan your life as much as you want and life certainly will happen. I have been in my 20s, gone to university and all, thought I would find the right man and marry right out of college but that's not what God wanted for me. Then I traveled got to see different states, escaped an abusive relationship. I got married at 34 and had a baby at 35. But unfortunately he passed away around the pandemic. I gained a 5yr old son but no husband. All I can say is that God knows best. I am now a single mom planning Everything myself with my son. As for female friends I don't have them either ever since I left university. Most people I went to school with are now married with children or working several jobs trying to pay bills in a very expensive city. I work and try my best to do child friendly things with my son. Luckily I do have family that I can see when I do get lonely. As for going back to school, my current company pays for school and I intend on taking advantage of that in the next few years to earn an advanced degree. It's never too late to achieve any goals set in life so long as you're focused on achieving that goal.

I'm an introvert, too. Im in my mid-20s, and tbh I'm okay with it. I have about 2 really close friends, though, and they're females. My siblings are my closest friends and my husband, my bestest friend.
