Not only in India most of the Asian counties are facing over population in India Muslim community encourages over population proper family planning and empowerment of women are the only solution to control over population it leads crime , poverty etc Pakistan and Bangladesh( majority Muslim countries ) never supports one could one or maximum two kids policy but now indian couples especially from south India they are not supporting Two or more kids for a couple
