Life Undiagnosed: Microtia and Hemifacial Microsomia

Thank you for sharing. I went through braces twice to try to fix mine. Mine is very mild and i also had teasing of my ears. We do need more awareness in orthodontics too because the second time i felt it was a waste of money and time. I also had the ear surgery but my left is still too small becuz the surgeon didnt consider it needed reconstruction not just pinning.

Dylan Eustace im curious to what they did for you amd when, like what ages, i have it and was never diagnosed, im 36. I always wondered wondered why i didnt have many gfs, then i started taking photos and now i see it. Crazy

I would love ti have had to your results, I have hemifacial microsomia and microtia, undergone multiple surgeries and...yeah some okay results, but I m not even close to your condition, although multiple and multiple surgeries

Hello I think I have this on my right side but very mild if that’s the right word to use. Do I go to my dentist or doctors?

I'm undiagnosed but I have obvious asymmetry in my face... Also have strabismus but I've had surgery to correct that. Didn't correct it much though.

Anita Vaughn i dont have strabismus, but i have amblyopia, it drives me crazy that ive been completely overlooked, it was bc my right side was so good looking i suspect. The non affected side, it just blows my mind that this isnt being diagnosed and treated... i simply thought i wasnt photogenic
