This is why I think it's important that those of us in our mid thirties and early forties still be vlogging. Becausee processing these things are thoughts we are not alone in! Btw idk if you’re into nyc vlogs but if so, you might like mine! I’d be sooo grateful if you swung by and took a peek. 🙏 Stick around if you like!

I’m glad you said this because the other day a girl who is in her 20s said vlogging is not for women who are in their 30s or 40s and that it’s totally cringe for women in their 30s or older to vlog. As a woman in her 30s, it made me so annoyed.

@AlexisBelon I think it's great for every age to vlog because the Internet is vast with people of all ages using it. There's a woman who vlogs on YT that is 65. Although I'm not at that age I think it's great that there are people on the platform for people in that age group to identify with. I've also seen skin care routine for 60+ and I'm just like that's great older people are using these platforms more for lifestyle vlogs.

@@Createmoneywithab some people think they have everything figured out and they offer opinions that no one asked for… when I hear people say what people at any age should or shouldn’t be doing it reminds me of how much we still need to learn about the development / evolution of the soul. It takes lifetimes. And part of that is connecting with others in whatever way makes sense for us wherever we are at that time. Has nothing to do with the number of age. It is underdeveloped to think so and actually say it out loud.

@@soufwesthoustontx thanks for your insightful response. The sad thing is, this girl has thousands of followers and many of them are over the age of 30 but no one called her out for it. I’m rooting for anyone who chooses to live life on their own terms. Thanks again for your thought provoking comment.

Wow Maya! I have been so anxious about turning 40 this year, but having you back on KZbin and watching you grow but also bring the same fun, youthfulness that you've brought since I've been following you has been such a relief! It let's me know I can grow into this new season without sacrificing who I am authentically at my core. I cannot express how much light and positivity you bring into the world. The bread turned out amazing and had my mouth watering! I'm currently writing my first novel and would love for you to share your writing process like writing software, outlining, motivation and everything in between if you're able to! Sending you all the love and sunshine from Arizona!!!🌵🏜🌈 ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

Making bread is an event! You've definitely inspired me to get back in there and do it some more. I'm looking forward to your mozzarella video! I'm curious about making mozzarella and ricotta. I started doing a chronological Bible study and it has helped SO much with understanding what the heck is going on with the major and minor prophets. I used to not understand why the tone was so angry and wrathful. But seeing everything laid out chronologically has helped me get perspective on a whole other level!

Funny story. Sourdough bread is one of my favorites. And my mom was a pretty good baker. So every year I’d ask her to make me two things- sourdough bread and gingerbread. Welp I guess she got tired of making it cuz … I got sick as a dog. Idk what happened but the sourdough bread came out bad. I think when making the starter from scratch, it can only sit for so long before it goes bad. So be careful with that sourdough! Ijs.

@@shamelessmaya Yeah I went down the “complicated math sourdough” rabbit hole myself then I found Ben Starr. He can get technical too because he likes to teach but his method is so simple. My dough rises in my oven with the oven light on while I’m sleeping, I wake up and shape it, wait 60-90mins for it to rise again then I bake it. Literally the only effort is mixing the ingredients and shaping the loaf (hence the 10mins).
