LIFE UPDATE ‼️ GETTING MARRIED, BURNT OUT, FINDING A FT JOB, WHAT HAPPENS TO TAYLORBUDGETS?

I am so happy that things are working out for you. An idea that I'm gonna throw out there (and you absolutely don't have to accept this idea) is to do an order drop system. Basically, announce in videos and on social media that you're going to open up your shop for envelopes. Set the order limit to 100 orders (for exxample) and announce that the first 100 orders will be done and then after that the shop will automatically close. Folks could have the ability to set up their order before the drop so all they gotta do is click a button and hopefully their internet is fast enough to be one of the first 100. If someone is #101, then they'll have to wait for the next drop. Only anounce and plan a drop once you're done fulfilling the previous 100 orders AND when you're ready to start making orders again. That way, you can control how many orders you make at a time. You can take pauses when you need to. You can set the order limit to 50 or 10 or 300-whatever works best for you. You can do a dump every month or every three months or sporatically whenever you feel up to it. While you do this, you can also limit what kind of products you're fulfilling in a particulaar drop. Maybe only have an option for one type of font or one type of envelope so that making them is a simpler task and you might be able to make some in bulk. Maybe you can limit the options for what labels are available. Like a basic set including groceries, home (or rent/mortgage), gas (or commute), utilities, receipts, and coins. Instead of making custom envelopes. This would hopefully streamline the process and make it less intense on your mind. You could also sell blank envelopes, and digital pdf templates so people can design, print, and attatch their cash envelopes. I'm just spitballing. Like I said, you don't have to accept any of these ideas. But I do know that these are the types of approaches a lot of creative small business owners take to keep their sanity.

But I was so stressed, unfulfilled burnt out on my job. Ppl dont understand why I left. Glad to see you! I know it's hard, and it seems like everyone is going through it right now. When it comes to making time for yourself and just feeling accomplished... what works for me is doing things when I feel the pull and giving grace when some weeks aren't the best. For example, I rudely woke up at 3 am, since I was up I decided to go get groceries at 6. So don't harp too much on a schedule, also use that agenda to track what you did accomplish. I may not hit the gym 4 times but this week I went twice, or I did 1 Bible study. Yes we all want to do more and the big thing is getting started! If things are pressing think about your day and make a to do list that is prioritized. You're going to be okay, just take it one day at a time. ❤

I think all of us go through periods of budget intensity, and then we're over it. We are back to the intensity and then over it again. It is okay. Everything happens for a reason learn the lessons focus on your schedule but first and foremost focus on YOU! Yes you wear many hats but if you don't take care of the crown those hats won't feel as fulfilling as they once did! As a new mom I am focusing on myself first to be able to have the capacity to focus on my daughter. It may be feel selfish but the goal is really selfless! If I am not pouring into my cup I can't pour into my daughter and that's not fair to her. Hope this help bring another perspective to your rebalancing!! Congrats on getting married this coming January. It's a blessing when anyone find the right person for them.. I am so sorry you did not get out debt when the money was rolling in. I realized on my debt free journey, the less debt I had, the less I would worry when things did not go as planned and the less money I needed to have in savings. Please do come back to basics. This time don't stop until ALL the debt has been paid off including the student loans. They won't go away unless you die or are terminally ill. And thats no way to get out them. Please read what the Bible says about debt (including student loans, LOL). DO You want to be a slave to the lender and continue to have the rich rule over as you are being ruled over because of the debt. I am sending prayers for your emotional, mental, physical,, spiritual and financial health.

I keep hearing you say you want to teach, why don’t you switch from physical products to teaching courses?? Digital products . Where you have trainings and courses teaching one on one or in a group, how to set up your budget or have quarterly virtual budget meetings with your followers that you charge for. If teaching is your thing…it seems like you can charge for that and won’t have to worry about the extra time for shipping and everything that comes with physical products.
