Im so sorry for the loss. I feeling it with you. I haven't been able to have another dog since I had to do the same with my Charlie Bear, back in 2001 i think it was. So painful. Weve had cats and in April 2023 my daughters 15 year old cat whod been ill on and off for a year with kidney disease, it turned a corner and the time had come where nothing more could be done but end it. She actually went so peacefully. My daughter and I were in bits. A very kind lady painted her portrait for us and we have her pawprints and ashes. I don't believe they fully leave you though as weve had things happen around the house. My sincerest condolences Tony 🙏🫂💔 Many blessings on Ralphs new journey to adventure 🙏♥️♥️

My staff has the big C quite a few lumps over her and struggling now she is 14 though, I'm dressing the day when I have to put her down, she not into much pain atm, Its gutting they are a member of the family. Hes in a better place now tho pal. Best decision for him

Sorry to here of your loss Tony I’ve always kept working Lurcher’s I’ve always had 3-4 dogs at a time but I’ve noticed as the years have gone by it never gets easier loosing a beloved dog I’m down to one now I had to take The dog I’ve got now’s granny to be pts in November it destroyed me I was a blubbering mess I’m normally a stiff upper lip type of guy

Oh Tony, so sorry. I howled myself when our last dog, a blonde cocker spaniel, passed away. He had a stroke a few months earlier, and then his body started shutting down one morning as he sat in my lap. We experienced the death howls. So sad. 😢😢😢

Oh Tony I feel your pain, I’m 76 so I know when my border collie goes, he’s just seven he’ll be my last . I’ve sat having my morning cuppa crying my eyes out with you. Every time I’ve lost a dog I think why do I put myself through this, but the love you give and get from your pet is worth the pain , I still miss my first collie and it was almost 50 years ago but you remember the love and the fun you had with them which is wonderful, so pleased to hear your other news , I hope we can see Daisy at the plot soon ❤️

Tony, I'm watching this will tears in my eyes. It's five and a half years since we had to have our whippets Gelert put to sleep. He helped me through losing both my mum and Dad . He had had health problems for much of his life and I promised he would not suffer. After all this time I still wake up at 6 am to take him fir a walk.
