LIFE UPDATE: working on the Disney Wish, burnout, ENGAGEMENT?!, vacation

Geri- First of all, congratulations!! I'm so happy you found your happily ever after! Secondly - I just went on my second Disney Cruise. The end of August into September, to Alaska, aboard the Disney Wonder. I hadn't been in 10 years. My last one I was 16. At that time, I was still dreaming of working for Disney. In 2015, I had a not so great experience with them, working in Seattle. On this cruise, on the Wonder, I got that desire back. I kept mentioning it to various cast members. On the last day, I asked Mickey if he thought I should apply. Of course, he said yes, and even made me shake on it! On video! 🫣🤗 But since then, I have been slowly working at attending to all of the crazy land things I need to get done before I can apply. Your videos have brought me such peace about the idea. I've been terrified, but honestly seeing you so happy and the way you glow when you talk about cruise ship life just makes me want to do it even more. Thank you so much for sharing your life aboard with all of us. You're a beautiful soul, and I hope some day to get to meet you! Perhaps as fellow crew! 🥰✨

@@LittleGeri I'm not entirely sure yet! Theres a lot to choose from. I have a bunch of retail experience, I'm a cosplayer, I know my way around a DSLR camera, I've spent a lot of time working with kids, and even some time in a tech booth. I think I'll end up applying for either shops or photography, but we shall see! 😅 You're so very welcome, and thank you! It's going to be a long process for me because I have things to get sorted before I can even apply, but I'm slowly working on it!

Funny enough I just binged all of your cruise videos as I'm about to start my first contract with DCL at Bibbidi and I saw you had posted an update after being away for awhile and when I say I ran to my computer to watch...ya girl is still outta breath! 😅 Your videos have tremedously helped put any DCL anxiety I had to ease. It’s crazy that I’m watching this video while I’m on the Wish ready to go on vacations after my 2nd contract! The Wish layout conversation was sooooo relatable haha… arriving here after being on the Wonder was just crazy 😂 hope to see you here soon! Oh yay! How exciting! Enjoy your time onboard. I do believe it's a bit difficult to showcase what you do onboard without breaking some rules so just enjoy your time and take lots of pictures/videos for the memories!

We just got back from a cruise on the Wish & didn’t think it was hard to get around. The elevators were only backed up a few times, including the drill. That’s crazy you don’t get any days off.

I found your page in April after cruising the Wish in April I was stuck in a hotel room after getting covid on the Wish did a Back-2-Back 3 Night/4 Night. I remember you and I believe I told with I was getting alcohol when I walkedpast a character line lol. You asked if I was getting in line
