My sister lost a baby girl too because of the negligence of the doctor and it was devastating. I cannot even imagine your pain but I just want to give you big hug for your courage to talk about it. Do whatever you need to do to get through this. Give yourself time to grieve. Stay strong!

When I wanted to go out he took my hand and said, “Shall I not give you some glad tidings, O Abu Sinaan?” I said, “Yes.” He said, “Al-Dahhaak ibn ‘Abd al-Rahmaan ibn ‘Arzab narrated to me from Abu Moosa al-Ash’ari that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “When a person’s child dies, Allaah says to His angels, ‘You have taken the child of My slave.’ They say, ‘Yes.’ He says, ‘You have taken the apple of his eye.’ They say, ‘Yes.’ He says, ‘What did My slave say?’ They say, ‘He praised you and said “Innaa lillaahi wa inna ilayhi raaji’oon (Verily to Allaah we belong and unto Him is our return).’ Allaah says, ‘Build for My slave a house in Paradise and call it the house of praise.’” (Classed as hasan by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah, 1408)

I work as a pediatric Nurse in Germany and I have witnessed a few cases like yours but every time is still such a tragedy. I cannot imagine the grief you must have felt and the stress during the time, when it was unclear what was happening. Remember that he will always be your son not matter what! Oh Bushra my heart, you've been on my mind constantly since I found out... May Allah grant you ease and strength and unite you all in the highest ranks of jannah. Ameen... We all go thru different challenges in life, and to go thru what you're going thru is one of the most difficult situations anyone could be faced with... But I'll share a couple reflections about the difficulties we face in life I've realised over the years that help me get thru the hard times... 1. Allah tells us He doesn't give us more than we can bear - but with Him is also our ease and relief as we go thru it - if we turn away from Him, that is when it does get too hard to bear... But at the same time, when the pain lingers for a long time and we start to go numb, our spiritual connection to Allah can suffer, cos we're human... Even if somedays it feels like you don't feel anything, try hold on to that connection with Allah because when the pain passes, to have lost that connection to Allah only starts a cycle of more pain that only takes us downwards... 2. We would never chose these difficult trials for ourselves... But Allah gives them to us, and even if it never makes sense - one thing is certain, it is thru our patience and acceptance of Allah's decree and how we carry ourselves thru these that give us the chance to elevate ourselves to Allah, which ultimately brings us closer to Him and InshaAllah allows us to be elevated higher and closer to Allah in Jannah... And for you, everything else aside, this child is waiting for you and will ask for you to be with him. So just know thru this, Allah is giving you the chance to have more success and happiness in the next life InshaAllah. 3. No matter how confusing and hard something may seem, always remember, Allah loves us and has more mercy for us more than even our own selves. Your life is in His hands. Every single heartbeat and every single breath we have is from Allah... We definitely aren't the ones who keep our hearts beating. And even if we think we look after our children, it is Allah who is sustaining them and showing His mercy on them as He is doing for us all. He gave your baby a short lived life with you, in which he was protected within you for the majority, and had his dad by his side for the rest... He lived a life where he only knew love and mercy, and that is all he will ever know because he is still being looked after by Allah... I pray Allah gives you only the best in this life and the next, and he reunites you all in Jannah... And btw I don't mean to be preachy in anyway, and I don't mean to imply by any means that you shouldn't grieve or not be sad... Even the Prophet grieved when he lost his children... But thru the grief, keeping our mind in the right place, especially regarding Allah and the bigger picture of it all helps us get thru it and continue moving forward... my mom is friends with one of your family friends (small world i guess) so when she told me about it i was shocked. i experienced a personal loss in july that left me so heart broken. and coming to terms with the fact that its qadr and out of your control is both difficult and relieving because you know Allah is with you and is planning your life. I’m so sorry for your loss may Allah give you and your family patience. A year and half ago I went through the same situation but the only difference is that I was in my 28 weeks pregnant. And it was honestly the most difficult thing that ever happened to me and I know that it’s the same for you as well, but as you keep praying and believing that Allah knows best everything gets better Alhmdullah. I’m currently pregnant in my 24 weeks and I know that Allah is generous and will give us better than what he took from us Alhmdullah.

Hi, Bushra. I have never seen your videos before but your instagram post of your son passing away popped up on my feed somehow. And having lost my baby girl justa few months ago, I instantly felt your pain. You are keeping well mashAllah but I know its all easier said than done and most days you will feel immense grief. Just know that in Islam you can mourne for only 3 days but you can always grieve. I would sometimes feel rushed to "get over" my grief but tbh there is no such thing. It might worry those around you so one has to put up a happy face. But you, your partner and Allah know how much you love your son and that is all. Five months later now I feel guilty sometimes for being happy and 'moving on'. But even this sabr and happiness is a gift from Allah so accept it. Does not mean that you have started to love or miss your baby any less. But you are happy they are safe with Allah in Jannah. And will inshAllah pull his parents to Jannah aswell. And it will still hurt even months from now to still see other have their babies while your innocence around pregnancy and childbirth is gone. But I ask Allah for reward for it each time my heart hurts by reciting "Allahumma ajarni fee museebatti wakhliflee khairan minha". May Allah give your sabr. Zarrar will always be your firstborn and you will always be his mama. Take care.

One day he said: “Last night two people came to me and made me get up, and they said to me: ‘Let’s go.’ So I set off with them…” He mentioned things that he had seen, then he said: “We set off, and we came to a verdant garden, in which were all the colors of spring, where there was a man who was so tall that I could hardly see his head in the sky. Around the man was the largest number of children I had ever seen…” Then among things that the two angels explained to him was: “As for the tall man who was in the garden, that was Ibraaheem. As for the children who were around him, these are all the children who died in a state of fitrah.” One of the Muslims said: “O Messenger of Allaah, what about the children of the mushrikeen?” He said: “And the children of the mushrikeen.” [Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 7047]
