Hi Geebs, I got diagnosed with ME two years ago (but believe I had it for a a good few years before that) Happy Birthday by the way. It was my birthday yesterday and I turned 22. Anyway I just wanted to say that I started watching your videos a few months ago now and find them really helpful and nice to not feel alone. I am currently on my second month off sick from work as I constantly get bronchitis through just a cold and that wiped me out for 3 weeks. Anyway, hope your course goes well.

Hi there, thanks for the comment. I'm really glad that my videos are of some help, it means a lot as I know how hard acceptance can be with CFS. Stay positive :)

Thanks Willo. You are absolutely right and throughout all the years I've never wanted my illness to define who I am, only what I'm able to do (although I don't really want it to do that. Haha). I think while recovery/a cure is coming, being able to regain some control and quality of life is very important. You're on the ball with self-support. I wish you the best with your recovery too :)

Hey, thank you very much! The OHC treatment plans I had (I'm still doing the nutritional one) were good and they taught me some very promising techniques. It now boils down to me implementing those techniques consistently to reap the benefits - something which I'm trying to address with self-discipline etc. but finding tricky.

Cutting down on video games definitely helps; it's more a case of finding balance as having fun is still important - although, with fun being tiring, can't have too much. Any sort of physical exertion is exhausting so options for fun are limited.

Hi, thanks for the comment and a belated happy birthday to you! I know it's easy to say and harder to do but try not to worry about getting back to work as the stress from worry has such a detrimental impact on health/CFS/ME. Thanks again, for watching and for commenting, I hope you're doing okay :) G

Happy Birthday! Good luck with your degree and hope your health stays good too. How did you get on with the Optimal Health Clinic- did you feel it was worth it?

I have real admiration for your taking responsibility for trying to steer yourself in a positive direction. I do believe we can do things that are more self supportive. For some of us with ME this does not lead to a cure but it does help return some quality of life and a sense we have made what choices we could to live a meaningful if physically restricted life. Our ultimate choice is not to be defined by our illness, to have it not it have us:) I wish you a full recovery. Tally ho!
