Everyone has done a great job to make your Leh trip possible, especially Sumit (needs balls / guts to drive on new road on the Manali-Leh and Leh-Manali route in such short spans / breaks - he can / should also try the same using a Himalayan / Triumph bike). You Sir (Shrikant-ji), with this Leh trip have completed an important 'rite of passage' to a travel enthusiast (Indi or otherwise - had done mine with two Germans and Swiss using bullets). I usually drive 1056 km in approx 16 hours non stop. Yes just for 10 - 20 minutes stoppage for general purpose. You can verify this. I had uploaded Tool receipts of my last trip from Noida to patna on my channel, any way 450 is ok. While you driving in hills.

Swift desire can easily do, only 1 to 2km road little tricky need to keep in mind for the ground clearance.. we didn't find any water crossing as we visited in October 2nd week, in June and July it becomes little difficult as the water crossings will have water.. but still I feel it's manage
