Sir! How can we come to know that the battery of lifeboat is charging by the electric plug?

Most of the latest battery plugs have a indication light which glows when it is charging and if not their than you can also find charging indications lights near battery.

Sir, What kind of fuel is used in the Lifeboat engine? Any special requirements?

It's mostly Diesel oil , but for proper specifications we have to refer to manufacturer manual

@@SailorVikas Okay Sir. And do we change the Fuel Oil at any interval? Like mostly Lifeboat will have thier fuel full. So they remain in the tank for Longer duration.

@@Sailorontheloose when their was IMO SULPHUR 2020 regulation introduced, that time many diesel fuel grades had more sulphur content, that time ships had changed the lifeboat fuels to compliant fuel, and also fuel level shud be checked before starting engine as trying out engines is every week, chances are that it may go below the marking so we may have to fill additional fuel may b after 6 months or so depending on its level

It's all depends upon manufacturer, if he provides us name of paint which is recommended, we can paint.
