Ricky, when we used a generator while out in the field (when I was in the Army), we would build a sandbag wall around it to suppress the noise. It makes such a difference. If you try this, make sure you don’t build right on top of the generator as it needs to breathe. A 3-sided structure may be all you need if you don’t have neighbours close by.

Hi Ricky, first of all I want to tell you that you are incredible and I love watching your videos. The best thing that can be in this world is people who work to make their dreams come true, as you are doing with your beautiful wife. The second thing I would like to tell you is that muriatic acid is highly toxic to breathe, so I beg you to be very careful and wear a mask. I also recommend (if you allow me) that you use only a hammer and chisel, manual or electric, to remove the cement from the joints between the rocks of the wall. I tried it in a barn that I transformed into a loft in Ibiza, it worked but it took me a long time, so I decided to cover the wall completely with cement, leaving irregularities on the surface, keeping it rustic. Nice Jenny house! You could stick a couple of longer struts along the top, a couple of wheels on it, and wheel it like a wheelbarrow. Even a couple of retaining rails along the edges, and you could put a crate with some of your equipment and materials on top, so you move the whole thing in one journey as you work around the land. ...Or even connect the Jenny up to the wheels somehow so that you power it as you move it, and ... let's see, we could call it a ... erm ... car?

It's almost like problems find you because you're so brilliant at solving them. Rest assured, the last year has been an exception and you've passed with flying colours, it takes time to fully understand the land you have. You'll learn and look back on these experiences with a big laugh and great stories to tell. Bamboo/cane always loves a wet spot. Water rarely runs up hill. Can you see where I'm going with this? Hope you're having a wonderful Christmas and I look forward to following your adventures next year. Stay strong, keep on learning and most importantly stay true to yourselves. Sulfur smell, we used to use 36% acid to wash concrete mixers, it was band, and went to 12% , ive heard of guys going to ae with eyes looking awful, that's in the 90s. Be careful

Please, whatever method you use to remove the concrete, use a mask/respirator. The dust can cause silicosis of the lungs and we want the best for you. Have a wonderful new year!
