@@LifebyLiving Doug and Tracy KZbinrs has a homestead near St Louis Missouri, he does the mesh to his raised beds and has no problem. They have a huge amount of subscribers. You have to look back farther in there homestead videos to see it. I plan to do it to my raised beds if the moles/ voles decide to move in. So far the solar buzzers are working. Their videos right now are more about the unrest in this country. The old videos were very informative gardening info. I have gardened for 50 plus years. Hope the voles/moles you have move away! 😊💖

Congratulations at reaching 100k subscribers. You 2 are a joy to watch. Victoria we have the same vole problem here in Sacramento California. I can see the tunnels they dig because they leave a long mound on the surface. Our area is mostly ancient flood plain with sandy soil on top of hard pan. There are 3 natural predators of voles, cats and terrier dogs and me. I go around my yard destroying the tunnels with a blunt ended pitchfork. It blocks their tunnels. I have enlisted a neighbors cat to help with the voles. When we had our sweet rottweiler she eliminated all the rats and squirrels too. The voles have killed trees ,roses and flowering plants. Almost all my seasonal color is in large pots now. The only good thing is the voles have cleared out the long black,pvc drainage pipes buried all the way around our home and out to the street.They hate the rosemary,mint and catnip plants. I have seriously considered letting the catnip and rosemary take over our yard. Wishing you both 200k more subscribers. Truly enjoy your channel.

Thanks Kelly! Unfortunately weeds even find their way through the landscaping fabric here! Lots of Portuguese don’t bother using it. We ran it on the inside of the bricks as we’ll probably mortar them at some point in the future & the fabric will let us easily pull the gravel back & out of the way
