The Holy Spirit has been teaching my heart the nature of giving which is really the heart of the cross. God gave purely for the sake of other people and that’s how we’re to live. A real relationship with God comes about this way, it comes by receiving his gift and giving back in gratitude for what God has done. When you realize that God himself humbled himself into human form and gave up everything and faced the weight of sin, death, suffering and hell to give us his life and victory over death, you become humble and thankful and receive his servants heart which is really freeing. It free’s you to serve others and him and keeps you from feeding the flesh. Holiness, love and peace come when we receive and walk in his grace, when we listen to his spirit of grace we grow in the fruit of the spirit. Amen 🙏
