No matter what anyone might say, Keif has lead an amazing life. He's my favorite rock star by far. He's known to be a nice person too, which is the best part. It's incredible he was able to quit smoking after decades as a chain smoker. This man has truly been there, done that. Hope he's around for a long time to come.

Ronnie Wood nagged him after he had quit. I managed it three years ago and went 'cold turkey', no patches, no vapes, nothing. I used to smoke 30 a day.

I also quit cold turkey. I had been smoke-free twenty-seven years. Even so, I still ended up with throat cancer. Interesting saga for me personally. The best thing one can do for themselves is never start smoking. Glad Kieth quit smoking. He still has so much to give this world. Life as it should be, Like A Rolling Stone.

Did you read his autobiography? He’s NOT a nice guy by any stretch of the imagination! I threw out the book! Couldn’t finish it and it was such trash! He like having sex with underage kids whose parents were his friends! Disgusting! I love the Stones MUSIC. But non of them are “nice” men!!

Besides The Stones, you can see thru You Tube and other media, Mr. Richards' appreciation for all types of music! Perhaps he is the REAL Music Man. His passion for the art and respect for prior generations and assorted genres of music is amazing and transcends all of the accomplishments this man has had. THANK YOU MR. KEITH RICHARDS for entertaining and educating us all these decades!!

EVERYTHING! I LOVE KEITH RICHARDS! HIS LIFE ALWAYS REVEALS MORE SURPRISES! Note (which he'll never get! 😀): YOU GO KEITH! I became 69 10/29 this year and continue to kick ass and GROW with EVERYTHING I do. KUDOS to you and your BOOKS. I hold a collection (not quite as extensive as yours! 😄), but as an artist, following my mother, and music, my dad played the piano, and taught himself to play the cornet, my brother (😥 😇-- 👩🏽🦳👴🏽), who was born with perfect pitch, played the keyboard, guitar, and basically any music he decided to, so I hold many books on that subject, Botany, languages, etc. Learning really IS fundamental! Today, a lot of people don't even know what a book IS! 😂 Love you-- keep living your life as you choose: You've helped SO many others along the way! P.S. I KNEW you were an animal lover. SO like your personality. From an ASPCA Guardian, you're the BEST! ❤❤ ✨️ 🐇 🦮 🐈 🐈⬛ 🐕🦺 🐄 🐎 🐘 🦛 🐕 ✨️...🕊 🎤 🎧 🎶 🎹 🎸 🎨

As an 81-year old music lover my generation has seen the rise of musicians who will live forever. I don't have much interest in today's music because so much of it sounds the same -- and in many instances the lyrics are undecipherable. Listening to music of my younger years I can always recognize the performer in only a few bars. I know every generation has it's own music, but I doubt if much of today's music will be played 60 years from now.
@jeffberkowitz6563Ай бұрын
Always said the late 60's and early 70's clearly showcases the best music ever, the most passionate, musical, danceable, instantly recognizable, whether it's rock n roll, soul, folk, bluesy. Even the Stones, around for what, like 60 years, had their best music by far in the earlier several years. Rock on Keith!

@wendyblunden739027 күн бұрын
Totally agree. I used to go out in the evenings for the music. As you got nearer the venue, some little bar or club you could hear the bass and it was thrilling exciting. And we all danced! We had those times when we all talked to each other, made eye contact wise cracked and laughed our way through the evening. We enjoyed the journey and a lot of us who smoked tobacco like our hero managed to kick the habit. The riff in Brown Sugar! Got an electric car now and Miss You on play list.
