Frankly, it's both in and on. People today glory in their tattoos and want everybody to see them. When they receive and worship Antichrist as their only God, they will want his name or number to be proudly displayed on their right hand or forehead to show how loyal they are to his Lowness. Remember who we're dealing with here in Revelation. A world populace whose minds and hearts have been overtaken, not by the Spirit of God, but by the "spirit" of Antichrist and apostacy. According to 2 Thes. 2:11, 12, God sends "strong delusion" (the apostacy by the spirit of Antichrist) to the lost who refused to receive the love of the truth (the gospel), so they may be da---ed. The tribulation is the final 7 years of "famine" of the word and Spirit of God. God withdraws the "work" of the Spirit that He was sent to do on the day of Pentecost. No more conviction of sin and of righteousness, and of judgment. We see its effect in Rev. 9, where not a soul on the entire planet repents and gets saved during the five months of torment by the demonic locusts, nor afterward. All the lost on the planet will hate the Church, Christians, Christianity, the Bible, Jesus, and all that God stands for, and will seek to eradicate their kingdom (the NWO) of anyone and anything that pertains to God and Christianity (including all ancient manuscripts, all real Bibles, all commentaries, books, videos, movies, jewelry, crosses, Christian headstones at cemeteries, etc.), so they can have their own "new heavens and new earth." The eradication of Christianity in the tribulation will be like when ISIS tore down ancient monuments and other things in Iraq, while trying to create a total Islamic state.

It is America. Apostate Protestantism. Having a false set of laws other than God’s moral law. (10Commandments) They will bring in a Sunday law, like during the Dark ages and enforce God’s children to obey state rather following our conscience by obeying God of the Bible. In Revelation the beast has 7 heads. Chapter 17:10 says of these heads of the beast And there are seven kings: Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet arrived; but when he does arrive, he must remain a short while. 11 And the wild beast that was but is not, it is also an eighth king, but it springs from the seven, and it goes off into destruction. Who are the five that had fallen Egypt Assyria Babylon Medo-Persia Greece. One is Rome but the other was in the future the Anglo-American world power The eighth king was but is not yet will come back Who is this? The 8th king starts off as the League of Nations then it is disbanded but comes back as the United Nations. So the beast is political standing in the way of Gods Kingdom. When Daniel interpreted the dream of Nebuchadnezzar he described the March of world powers in a different way. The head of gold was Babylon the e silver medo-Persia the bronze Greece the legs of iron Rome and the feet of iron and clay Anglo-America. Verse 44 shows that when the feet and the clay are ruling God sets up the Kingdom in the heavens ready now to destroy all kingdoms across the earth. 44 says In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever.

Outstanding expository here. For myself as a Biblical expositor I find little difference between our view's. I differ W/U on the 7th & the 8th king's. I'll share my findings and then will give my reasoning. The 7th that remains a short space I believe to "Nazi-Germany," and the 8th the revived/resurrected Nazi like European/NATO empire. The "goat" of (Daniel chp.8 ) Hitler did receive the deadly head wound and it will be healed as this "beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth" rises. Exposition for my proposed concept. In ( Daniel chp. 8:4~5 ) the "ram from the east represents Iran/Islam." The "he goat from the west" represents Europe." This is a "supernatural beast" which is revealed by it's moving without touching the earth. In Daniels day to look east for a major superpower this would have been "Europe. In the final embodiment we see under this concept a united "European/NATO alliance" in the fulness of the "beast of Revelation 13:1~10" If you are of the mind to reply I enjoy sharpening iron" with you. It reads The two-horned ram that you saw stands for the kings of Meʹdi·a and Persia. 21 The hairy male goat stands for the king of Greece. Daniel 11:4 reads But when he has stood up, his kingdom will be broken and be divided toward the four winds of the heavens, but not to his descendants and not like the dominion with which he ruled; for his kingdom will be uprooted and go to others besides these. CONCERNING the kingdom of Alexander the Great, the Bible foretold a breakup and a division “but not to his posterity.” (Daniel 11:3, 4) Accordingly, within 14 years after Alexander’s sudden death in 323 B.C.E., his legitimate son Alexander IV and his illegitimate son Heracles were assassinated. By the year 301 B.C.E., four of Alexander’s generals established themselves in power over the vast empire their commander had built. General Cassander took control of Macedonia and Greece. General Lysimachus received Asia Minor and Thrace. To Seleucus I Nicator went Mesopotamia and Syria. And Ptolemy Lagus, or Ptolemy I, ruled Egypt and Palestine. Let's say you are correct, that the 6th head is the Beast, the ancient Roman Empire. Revelation 17:8 says, "The Beast that you saw WAS, and IS NOT; and SHALL ASCEND out of the bottomless pit and go into perdition. And verse 11 says, "And the Beast that WAS, and IS NOT, even he is the eighth, and is OF the seven, and goes to perdition." If the 6th "kingdom" is the Beast, how can it be "was", and "is not", at the same time? Daniel made it clear that there would be only four kingdoms, not seven. And he made it clear that the 4th kingdom has two phases, the iron legs, and the ten toes of iron and clay, both of which are under the rulership of Rome, the blasphemous "ETERNAL" city. Egypt is not included because she did not "conquer" the "nation" of Israel and her capitol, Jerusalem. Jacob and his family, the family of Joseph, were welcomed by Pharaoh during the seven years of famine, who gave them the choice land of Goshen as their continual residence. It was hundreds of years later that the Egyptians began treating them as slaves. Assyria, on the other hand, conquered the northern ten tribes, but not Jerusalem. The times of the Gentiles began with Babylon, for the trodding of Jerusalem underfoot began with them. And Revelation chapter 13 reflects all four empires in the composite "body" of the Beast: the mouth of a lion, feet of a bear, and body of a leopard, which comprise the revived Roman Empire. So, it is within the body of the Beast Kingdom that we find representation of "kingdoms", not in the 7 heads. The last verse of chapter 17 specifically states the identity of the Great Harlot, "And the woman whom you saw IS (present tense) that great city, which REIGNS (present tense, in 96 AD when this was written) over the kings of the earth." Further confirmation is chapter 18. The merchants of the earth, who were made rich by their sales to her, bewail Babylon's fall while delineating the "luxury" merchandise that the aristocracy of Rome purchased from them, which aligns perfectly with the merchandise that ancient Rome did indeed purchase in great quantities (any historian would agree). Merchandise of gold, silver, precious stones, pearls, FINE LINEN, and PURPLE, and SILK, and SCARLET, and all THYINE WOOD, and all manner vessels of IVORY, and all manner vessels of MOST PRECIOUS WOOD, and of brass, and iron, and MARBLE (it was said of Augusts, that he found Rome a city of wood and left it a city of MARBLE), and CINNAMON (emperors would sometimes pay their soldiers with bags of this highly prized spice), and odours, and ointments, and FRANKINCENSE, and WINE, and sheep, and HORSES, and CHARIOTS, and SLAVES, and SOULS OF MEN." And a voice told the "apostles" to "Rejoice over her...for God has avenged you on her." The Great Harlot of the last days is the same Great Harlot that first martyred the apostles and their disciples, Rome. The seven heads are exactly what the angel told John they were, seven literal kings (emperors of Rome), just like the seven golden candlesticks were exactly what Jesus said they were, seven churches.

By using the only Biblical study method, the historicist , " line upon line, " and the other Biblical study principles we can conclude that the "Beast" is exactly what the Bible through millennia has prophesied will be. Thank you for your expositional assessment of (Revelation chp.13). As I listened I was surprised where you began to list the "Beast's" prophetically. "Cutting straight the word of the truth" here reveals a difference from your presentation. Chapter 17 of (Revelation) speaks to this concept. Verse's ( 8~11) of this chp. reveals there are 8 "Beast's/Kingdom's." These would be; #1.- Egypt, # 2.- Assyria, # 3.- Babylon, # 4.- Medo/Persian, # 5.- Greece, # 6.- Roman, # 7.- Nazi Germany, #8.- A revived resurrected European/NATO Alliance. The "Beast" that was of the seven who's deadly wound to the head was healed.

Similar to the teaching of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, but with incomplete information, sometimes distorted. Adventists have everything laid out on the shelves, including who the beast and the false prophet are, and 666 is Vicarious Filie Dei on the papal tiara means the Vicar of the Son of God. 10 horns are 1. Burgundians-Swiss, 2. Lombards-Italians, 3. Saxons-English, 4. Suevi-Portuguese, 5. Alemanni - Germans, 6. Visigoths-Spaniards, 7. Franks-French. "Ostrogoths, Heruli, Vandals," were torn out or destroyed by the little horn. The Pope watches in the temple, posing as God, and the priests dress in purple and crimson and red, and the church sits Rome on seven hills or the heads of the beast.

When I hear people start off reading the book of revelation literally, I instantly know they are pre-trib believers. How do I know this? Because it's impossible to understand revelation if you read it literally, and or believe in a pre-trib rapture. To prove this, in the opening statement. You said there will be TWO people spewing fire out of their mouths. (Rev11:5) NO ONE will be walking around shooting LITERAL FIRE out of their mouths. This is what the word FIRE means. Jer 5:14/ 23:29. There is only ONE WAY to study Gods word. Isa 28:10. Yours in Christ

I'm post-trib, and have been for about 40 years now. As for fire coming out of their mouths to destroy their enemies and plaguing the earth (both of which come out of their mouths) is reminiscent of Moses and Elijah, which represent the law and the prophets -- "MY" two witnesses, for they bore witness to Christ. Both the plagues of Moses and the fire of Elijah came forth from their mouths -- they spoke it. That's all it means. It was written as an allusion to the two witnesses being Moses and Elijah, or in their spirit. I don't know any pre-tribs (all my churches have been pre-trib -- I don't know of any post-trib churches in my area close to me) who claim fire really comes out of their mouths, unless it was Tim LaHaye, since his fictitious "Left Behind" movie, unfortunately, portrayed the 2 in that manner. The false prophet, by his mouth, "calls" down fire from heaven after their deaths. The mimicry is similar to that of Jannes and Jambres against Moses. Although I am post-trib, and can expertly defend my position with scripture (I know both sides equally well), I make it a point not to rub my pre-trib brethren's noses in it, nor besmirch their intelligence, nor make mockery of them. Do all things to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave His "holy" life as the sacrifice for all our sins, and who is the same Lord over pre-tribs and post-tribs. Seek peace, edification, unity of the faith, and love of the "brothers" of Christ, and we will do well. God bless you.

( the two witnesses being Moses and Elijah) I had come to this conclusion but had not heard anybody else with this explanation until now. Jesus shared with the disciples on the road to Emaus quoting from the two witnesses which bear record of HIm (Moses and the Prophets) to confirm His messiahship. On the mount of transfiguration Moses and Elijah appeared and talked with Jesus is another proof from the Gospels that Moses and Elijah (representing the Law and the Prophets) are the two Witnesses.

I believe the Beast can be known by matching the prophecy of Daniel with Revelation.. Therefore let us begin by looking at what Revelation tell us : "8The beast that you saw-it was, and now is no more, but is about to come up out of the Abyss and go to its destruction." The Beast is said to come up out of the Abyss.. And in Daniel he is the little horn that will rise up from the earth to the host of heaven, i quote : Daniel 8 : 9-10 "9From one of these horns a little horn emerged and grew extensively toward the south and the east and toward the Beautiful Land. 10It grew as high as the host of heaven, and it cast down some of the host and some of the stars to the earth, and trampled them." And as the little horn that rises up as high as heaven, the term insolent king is used to describe him later, i quote : Daniel 8 : 23 "23In the latter part of their reign, when the rebellion has reached its full measure, an insolent king, skilled in intrigue, will come to the throne" An image reminiscent of Nimrod's will to rise to the heaven using the tower of Babel to do so.. The topic of the pit is conflated as the abyss or the bottomless pit here.. Therefore Satan is Abaddon who is the Beast also.. And in Daniel 8, he is the little horn that rises from other horns.. These horns are spoken about in Revelation when describing the Dragon who is Satan as well as the Beast, i quote : Revelation 12 : 3 "3Then another sign appeared in heaven: a huge red dragon with seven heads, ten horns, and seven royal crowns on his heads." Revelation 13 : 1 "1Then I saw a beast with ten horns and seven heads rising out of the sea. There were ten royal crowns on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads" Notice that what distinguish the Dragon from the Beast are the royal crowns. The Dragon possess 7 horns with 7 royal crowns while the Beast possess 10 horns with 10 royal crowns. The meaning as to these horns with the royal crowns is explained further in Revelation 17, i quote : Revelation 17 : 9-10 "9This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. 10There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for only a little while." The 7 heads with the royal crowns of the dragon/woman are 7 kings.. Since you know this beast represents an empire and a man. Why on earth do you still believe that the prophecy has not been fulfilled? Please read bible and stop applying your thoughts, read it and ask yourself what is God telling me not what I think

Perhaps because Revelation 19:19 says the beast will fight against Jesus at His return. He hasn't returned yet. It is a future event. Perhaps you should read the Bible more carefully, and ask yourself....

Because Jesus is not here. There has never in history been a time when all life on earth was threatened with destruction, the great tribulation has not occurred and there have been times much worse in recent history than the times that you are thinking of. Christ did not return in 70 AD. YOU need to read the Bible and reevaluate what YOU believe.
