I hid in a log cabin from the intense cold! I'm going to light a wood-burning stove to keep warm!

Hello everyone, we are glad to see you all again! It's been a long time since we've been in our log cabin. It's not close to home, it's -20 degrees Celsius outside. Hugo didn't take it with him because he could freeze his paws off.
When I approached the house, I saw a trail from a snowmobile, I think the hunters stopped, relieved their fatigue and drove on, they did not enter the house. When I went inside, everything was shining, before my trip to the house the temperature dropped to -40 degrees, so the whole house was icy. I came here to light a wood stove and warm up the hut! Every time I watch your videos, I think of the small, 1 room cabin we had in the Adirondacks, in Northern New York. A little plot of 15 acres, no well or electricity, off grid. It was 11x15 (feet) inside with one corner made into a bathroom (5x5) with a composting toilet and little shower pan with a solar shower bag. Hand made table & kitchen counter/cupboards We lived there 6 years...I still miss it! Thank you for your videos! Best to you and your family. ❤

Your video are always great and so aspiring, please keep produce more of them. What you and Sasha have done building dwellings, furniture, etc. with only logs to work with and your imagination are a credit to both of you. Here in the United States, east coast near the Atlantic Ocean, it is cold enough in the winter, and we do get our share of snow and ice depending on which direction the winds and storms come from. But, I doubt if I could live in Siberia. Wishing you, Sasha, Nastya, Hugo, and all of your other pets, a Merry Christmas, and a happy, peaceful, and healthy New Year 2024!

I am sure that Sasha is better now. Food for the lost and snow insulation for the lower part of the cabin, the way of the woods people. Bravo! When you said it had gotten to 19C, I have a thermometer by my computer and it has both measurements on it so I see it is 66F. I assume that when Sasha is good enough that you two will make a trip to the dugout cabin? I am sure it will be warmer in there as it is dug into the ground.
