I have the 5200, the A2300 and the A3500. Love them all equally. My 5200 is my go to smoothie maker though. Love the tall container.

I recently purchased the A3300 and on a separate purchase picked up the stainless steal 48oz container. I feel the stainless steal is a healthier choice container for making soups and as a bonus work well for smaller portions.

The colors of the smoothies are different because the 5200 is not incorporating air. As a result, it is smoother and velvetier and not frothy. Aside from the look, the mouth feel will be different. The 5200 is a better blender. The A3500 is a better all around machine. If you already have a good food processor, the 5200 is probably a better choice. I’d you’re short on space or need the multifunctionality, the A3500 is better.

After watching this video, I went for the a3500 with the stainless steel container using your affiliate ID so I could get the recipe book. I also appreciate all your content! After using my old 5000 Vitamix for 17 years, I wanted a container that didn't stain from food. It is so pretty. BTW I love your recipes! Where were you 17 years ago? I had to figure many of those recipes out on my own. Anyway..... I got it 2 days ago and haven't stopped using it. I LOVE the walk-away feature and the simple controls for a smoothie! It is also so easy to make nice cream! Oh soup is a breeze! I'm in LOVE!

I had a 5200 and also bought the A2500 because the A series is also compatible with the Vitamix food processor attachment. I gave my 5200 to my sister because my husband bought me the food processor attachment and it was incompatible so he bought me the A2500 which I liked more than the A3500. I can fit the A2500 assembled under my cabinets easily. It also has presets and WiFi controls but the face and knobs are much more similar to the 5200 which I loved.

This time of year there will be some very special prices. Black Friday online only, Costco will have complete kitchen deal for $499. I believe this is the A2300 blender. It includes 2 different mixing containers. A 48oz and a 64oz mixing containers, plus the food processor attachment. I'm sure that Amazon will be offering some great Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals. I keep the 48 ounce container on my Vitamix TNC Blender when it's on the counter. It's the perfect size for 1-2 people, and fit's under my cabinets. Can't go wrong with the Legacy Series Blenders.

I have a question I mainly wanted to make smoothies greens and not leave any pulpy fibrous residue which of the blenders is best for not leaving any fibrous residue diet can’t have any fibrous everything has to be broken down. I was thinking of 5200.

We did the 750 Professional but no matter what you choose, he refurbished program is the way to go! You get a great product with a warranty while keeping some money in your pocket!

I thought the same but the 5200 seems to only be $50 cheaper vs new and loses 2 years of warranty? $400 for new with 7 year warranty vs $350 refurbished with 5 year warranty. Seems like new is the better value investment, no?

@@nonfungiblemushroom When we got our reconditioned Pro 750 in August of 2022, we paid $491.22 (with a 15% coupon code) but I see now the reconditioned ones are $569.95, so yeah, if new is close, why not. Keep in mind though, the refurb have all new motors and are basically new machines so it may be worth it to go that way. I'm pretty sure this channel has a tour of Vitamix that explains the refurb process. EDIT: These things rarely break so we were pretty confident of the shorter warranty. Good hunting! 😃👍

Hi and thank you for your informative videos. A question please, I know it is best and you also suggest we better buy from the actual Vitamix manufacturer website, sometimes like this time in December there is a temporary table at Costco where they have brought A2500 Vitamix which I think will be available until December 20th with a little discount , will this be different from the one at the Vitamix website in quality, are they of a bit lower quality or are they of those refurbished returned ones …? Will appreciate your response in advance.

I've had my 5200 since 2011 & it has worked beautifully up until now. The container gear seized up & damaged the drive socket. I replaced both for about $200. bucks. It's to be expected bc I use my blender at least daily, sometimes multiple times per day. However, since replacing those parts I have noticed that my 5200 has seemingly far more power than it's ever had. It works, it blends, but it seems to make a louder noise than once before, even on the variable speed but nonetheless, it still blends. Now when I kick it up on turbo the machine vibrates all over the place. There's no leaving it unattended bc I'd likely find it in another room. All kidding aside, Vitamix tells me it could be the computer board or another part that I cannot remember its name but it's out of warranty so I'd have to pay the shipping costs (approx. $30. both directions) to send it to Vitamix. They tell me that they would rebuild it which inc. a new container to the tune of $250. I wish I would have known that before buying the new container. Anyway, I am thinking of buying another 5200 but not sure if I am going the new route or the refurbished route. The computerized A3500 is not really a consideration for me. Any suggestions?

What would you say is the preference to y'all using the 64 ounce container to chop for the salad versus using the food processor attachment?

Less friction in our process -- we keep the FPA up in a cabinet. Plus, with that particular salad, the coarseness is how we like it; it's the difference between "riced" cauliflower and sliced cauliflower.

The 5200 is more efficient due to its narrow base design, where it creates the perfect vortex inverting the food that is swirling on top sucked centered to the bottom giving the food you’re blending have a better consistency.

Well, lucky for me…I now have them both. One I can use immediately (A3500) and the one (Pro 750) whenever I uncover it in the garage in time. No regret test, just that I will have two of them. I am still leaning toward the Pro 750. I like the look of it better and I like those buttons. It is the same with my 20 year old Kitchenaid Buttercup 8 cup blenders, one is Professional and the other one step down. Couldn’t choose, so I have both. All of these brands are lifetime brands…I can pass them down.

The problem is americans are stuck wib vitamkx and some other crap like waring and hamikton beach, the idea maker doesnt make the idea. In europe our blenders for 50 euros outlerfirm ur vitamix. And jugs and all acc do not cost 200 dollars to change. It s very nor.al for the blenders to have a 1000 to 1600 watts or more, bcz of the high voltage not 110 like u
