what do you think videos in this style? Less snappy, more of just hanging out hosted

I keep my I-pot out on the counter and use it AT LEAST once a day. I actually bought another one when it was on sale in order to have an extra pot along with a second lid to use should the first set already be dirty/in use, plus a backup base should the first one ever die. I also bought not one but TWO steamer baskets for it. In short, I L❤VE the darned thing. It has been one of the main tools that has actually helped cut down on the time spent in the kitchen preparing whole-food plant-based cuisine. I've found it is absolutely vital for making such a lifestyle free from processed food THAT much more sustainable. Oh--that, PLUS your cheese sauce recipe, of course! 😜

This year is my year of learning to cook regularly and level up beyond extreme basics. I also want to start incorporating foods i "dont like," i thought it would be by trying new ways of cooking but yall reminded me i can blend out foods i dont like! Ive used my moms vitamix 20yrs but we rarely used it for actual meals, usually smoothies and sauces & occasionally nice cream or "butters". Time to level up my Vitamix game too!

The corn chowder looks amazing! Black bean soup maybe chopped green onions and yogurt. The celery soup, perhaps a small float of white truffle oil infused EVOO? Been one of my kicks.

Deglazing your pan means scraping the bits that are stuck to the bottom, thus the wine vinegar.

To pour from a carton without the "glug-glug," pour with the hole at the top. Like, when you tip the carton over on its side to pour, don't have the hole down on the bottom closest to the thing you're pouring into. Have it up on top (does that make sense??)... No glug! 😁😜

I've made this recipe corn chowder soup but used home-made almond milk (takes no time especially using Vitamonster and tastes awesome) and 1/2 - 3/4 chia seeds. It's SO delicious and perfect for winter. Second time put a tbsp of red curry powder. Didn't suck. 🤪🤤 [Should be made with Steven He's "Beijing Corn" 🤪]

@@LINY I am just glad that I didn't watch this segment on an EMPTY stomach!!! Love you guys. Guess what I'm making for dinner 🤣🌽🥬🥔🥕🥦🌶 soup in 5 minutes! [I gave a Vitamonster (your model) to my fave family members (couple) for Christmas and sent them your way. My "Oldie" lasted for 10 yrs, going strong, with just a blade change after 9. Even brought it on trips including flights. Got thumbs up from staff. 😎👍🥰🔥 People often think nothing of upgrading their phone but complain about the price of something that saves money, feeds creativity and is just badass. [My 'niece' cat, predictably, is not amused 🤣.]

Doesn’t potato become gluey when you blend it? 😮 this has always been a no no so I’m very curious 👀
@ciannacoleman5125Ай бұрын
There are right and wrong ways, potato soup is us almost always a blended soup and not gluey i think its a matter of figuring out what makes the glue texture & how to fix it. For exaple i never make mashed potatoes with heavy cream because when i did it came out as glue (was the weirdest thing since the dairy type is the only thing i changed)

This is ridiculous. Any blender can do the same. I find it dangerous to make hot mixtures in a blender, and besides it only makes two or three servings. It is not for a family sized pot of soups.
