Re photos. What we do. When we do what I would call "a special holiday" I think you understand what I mean. When we next decorate we incorporate those photos into the scheme. At the moment we are enjoying 7 wks in Galicia. All the flowering trees and shrubs are at their best. This summer we intended to decorate the lounge. When I started to see all these flowers I said that's the theme for the lounge. So the big wall will have a selection of different frames of flowering plants. 2 yrs back we did our bedroom with southern France scenes. It's a lovely way to remember your hols. Nice video as always.

Some of our best experiences have been where we have turned left instead of right. We usually have four or five markers on a large route where we want to go but just wiggle in between them to see where we end up that day. We also have a fun day followed by a rest day and usually have three or four days of much needed 'nothiness' in the middle. I am sure a curry on return is the law! Excellent! I have reached the point where I schedule a day of activity and then schedule a day of leisure. I have found that (for me, I am old with some broken bones) if I do too many days of activities, I can be down for over a week. That can get expensive fairly quickly. And parking in the same spot for over a week is sometimes begging to be challenged.

Another great video filled with lots of useful information. I’ve spent today going through hundreds of photographs as we clear my parents house. Lots are a mystery to us but there are some fabulous ones of my grandfather in the colliery band and others of the village they lived in in the 1920s and 30s. We found some of my grandparents in London in the 1930s. They went with the band to play at the Royal Albert Hall and my grandfather played the cornet solo, it was his lifelong claim to fame. Sadly he died when he was 49 so not a long life. It makes me think I must sort my digital photos. We take so many more photos and videos now we have great cameras on our phones. Lots of the photos my parents had were taken professionally, there’s even some charcoal drawings 😳😂. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I have that particular CPAP machine which I use in a caravan. We always go to caravan parks. I have an inverter fitted and when we loose power it will run the machine all night no issue. I also have a Resmed power pack which runs off a cigarette lighter socket so you don't need to use an inverter. These are available from Resmed. Greetings from Australia. Love your channel.

I know about CPAPS when camping. Off-grid; you turn your heater and humidifier off, on the AirSense 10. I don't use a heated hose and if you have a heated hose make sure you slip the hose away from being engaged. I pour the water chamber to its level with a bit of above-room temperature water. I use a 12-volt adapter for the AirSense 10 that I found on Amazon. You cannot use an inverter unless you have a massive lithium battery bank of about 600-800 watts. I only have 200 watts of lithium batteries. And my wife has the same set-up. So we have to replenish the batteries either with my 360 watts of solar or a Honda 2000 generator after each night. And hello from Kevin in Utah. I think the Q&A is brilliant!

Hi Carol and Ken, I've just watched your video from here in Gdynia, Poland. I totally agree about planning, I've got a rough plan for the next 4 weeks, but it's very flexible, a few plan Bs available. One problem I had, I booked a Saturday evening euro tunnel because I thought it would be good for driving across Germany on Sunday because all the HGV are parked up. BUT not thinking all the supermarkets are closed on Sunday, so I had no milk, butter etc., things that you are no longer allowed to take from UK. Saying all that the journey so far has been brilliant, Park ups have been great. Having a few days with friends before heading south through Poland to Slovakia and Austria. 👍

Hi Carol, a few videos back you mentioned that you use to have a caravan but changed to a campervan and wished you had done so sooner. I have caravanned for 20 years and often wonder if it was time to change to a campervan. I do like setting up the caravan and having the tow car to explore the surrounding area and feel that I would struggle with the much smaller living space in a camper but would welcome you view as I may be missing something. We do have data via our phones which create a personal hotspot. I am with EE and currently there is no data limit when using the ipad on a hotspot. (they warn you that your hot spot data had been used) but it just continues to work and we have not been charged extra. Carol is with 3 which imposes a 12 gig limit when out of the UK. The only other way is to download movies before you go. 👍

Hi both, I don't see bothering with a TV these days whatever the size of your Camper/Motorcaravan. If you're going to pay for mobile internet for editing and uploading then you might just as well get your TV by the same route. I stand to be proved wrong but I don't think that there's much that's not available via internet and if you didn't have time to watch yesterday's episode then you can get it on catch up. Personally I don't watch much Terrestrial programming these days anyway, if it's not blinking Soap Operas it's flipping "reality TV". If ever a genre was misnamed, that's definitely it. 🙄 KZbin channels like you and Camper Vibe etc are what I call reality TV and you're all available on both Internet devices and TV these days.
