I am curious as to why the actual visual demo during the game play and using the panel was done in a darker light setting in the room. I would like the review to include how the display look in normal lighting (in the beginning of video or when talking about the included cables)...for when panel is not used for gaming and connect to laptop/PC or just not in a dark room how does it do?

Depends what you are playing and if you are super competitive, but its very good, better than most TVs on the market, a gaming screen is now a days is either 1ms or 4ms. This one is around 10ms, and its not bad for gaming, its perfectly ok
