I have to agree with some of the other comments here. There is nothing new here and some of the information is just incorrect such as the Apple Pencil Pro being exclusive for the IPad Pro’s. This is incorrect as it is also for the new iPad Air M2’s. Also, the pencil is not useless nor a weak update. Perhaps for you and even myself it is, but for artist it’s a great update. The quality of your video is fantastic, I suggest more original content. Something or information we have not seen before. Footage and editing is great though. 🍉

The M4 power is not limited by Apple, and I am not sure why everyone says this doesn’t take advantage of it. People say they want MacOS on iPad, but trust me they will hate the touch UI. App Developers can 100% build to this, they just don’t. DaVinci resolve is a good example. I am a big fan of DR on my MB Pro but even on my iPad Pro M1 - it works amazing on the iPad. Feels just as fast as my MacBook. I think the people who want MacOS on the iPad are probably only the power users (less than 10% of the total base) I think with how good stage manager got and maybe one more Thunderbolt port, this is really close as is. I do wish that Chrome had extensions though. You mentioned in your video too… That is totally lame that we are using a mobile browner on the iPad but some how weaker Chromebook get extensions???

I don’t think MacOS on the iPad is a good idea however some additional software enhancements and changes to the apps to take advantage of the larger canvas and power of the M4 compared to an iPhone would be nice.

Apple has made a mess with iPad Os . If they do not aim at offering Mac OS on the pro iPad series , at least they should provide a pro operating system . The iPad Pro M4, which I owe , is still limited by software and you will never have the same workflow and use of plugins available as in most desktop software . If you use it as a main device and you rely on apps like Logic , FCPX and Adobe then a Mac is the only way to go . If you are a designer and you want to expand your workflow taking advantage of the pencil than iPad is an excellent solution . At the end , however, you might consider to choose the right device . M1 - M2 iPads are enough for all apps available now , if you want to trust Apple for the future , you may consider the M4 , but Apple has not done much yet

i have the 12.9 inch ipad pro and comparing it to the m4, i think the m1 is still ganna be good for the next 3-4 years unless something breaks from it or i can get a used m4 ipad

jesus christ another "i sWiChEd tO ipAd vIDeO" the ipad is not a laptop replacement please stop trying to do that. its one thing to get the mac mini and dump your laptop when you have an ipad but to completly get rid of your desktop is insanity. there are things that MACOS can't even handle without using windows, and you choose to dump macos in favor of an ipad??? its a complementary device that has different use cases. thats like dumping your computer because you have an iphone

I think macOS doesn’t really work well as a touch based UI.

I think the iPad is unique in its own way compared to a Mac however Apple could definitely add some additional software enhancements where it doesn’t feel like an iPhone and allows apps to take advantage of the larger canvas and m4 chip.
