Don't go when it's this busy, Astagfirullah. I was there at the end of my Hajj in 2018 and stayed in a hotel 2 or 3 over from the Movenpick (I don't want to give it's name as I was with a tour and never would have picked one from that country) . I offered almost all my prayer INSIDE the Masjid and almost always in the first row and on the side nearest to our beloved Prophet Mohamad pbuh. I know the reward is greater for offering our Salat in the Haram but I've never felt so close to Allah than when I was offering my Salat in Masjid An Nabawi so I ask Allah to grant that be where He takes my soul. I had the option of going to Medina before or after my Hajj and chose after so my obligation was offered and then I could relax and enjoy my time near our beloved Prophet Mohamad pbuh. I suggest to go when you have time and it's not packed. And have some tissues handy as insha'Allah you may find yourself crying during your Salat.

This is true…I don’t recommend booking the hotels on the Qibla side as well. Especially if you’re with elderly people. I just came back from an Umrah trip and we stayed at Pullman ZamZam in Madinah…even though it’s close the the actual mosque, because it’s in front of the imam you have to keep walking until you find a spot/area for men especially if you want to pray in the courtyards of the mosque. Also if you’re with a female then you will have to walk and drop them off somewhere half way and the male area is usually on the far right corner side so you have to walk a bit more (if you’re walking from the qibla side and from a hotel where zamzam is located) Best to book Sofitel, Dar Al Taqwa etc

@BlueSky78683 Well if you are guaranteed the Green Dome then leave hotel earlier to bring elderly to masjid -also you all can send salam to Rasulullah SAW and Sahaba everytime you pass by the front entry. ladies prayers area's flanked at end so depending on which gate you are gg to enter Pillars 12-16 usually are filled up extremely fast-Jumaah even 2.5hrs are filled up.Wheelchairs pilgrims have dedicated end of prayer hall inside masjid but for outside guards will guide accordingly. Dar Al Taqwa,Taiba Suites (there are 2 if not mistaken pls refer to Google map the 1 nearest to Masjid Nabawi),Hilton,Sofitel,Al Rawda Royal Inn Hotel though expensive but will make it easier for her. As for you walking more to the masjid you also earn more rewards. It is a win win situation.

we booked a hotel on qibla side, but we actually went to the masjid an hour before each prayer so all’s good. It’s just about getting there in time and not last minute
@LifeMoves7 күн бұрын
Alhamdulillah, that’s good for you. I also stay long hours in the masjid. May Allah accept it. But what you said is like saying, regarding Sajda Sahw (prostration of forgetfulness), ‘it’s about praying correctly and not making mistakes.’ Of course, we aspire to the ideal, but mistakes happen, people sometimes get delayed due to illness etc and knowing about what to do doesn’t increase the likelihood of it happening. Even if you stay on the north side, you can still go early-nothing is stopping you. Like it or not, the dedicated women’s sections are on the north side. So, it’s better for families to stay on that side to ensure the women in the family don’t have to walk far to reach their sections.

On the other hand, people entering from the Qiblah side are more prone to pray in the front rows. It might even be possible to enter the old/Ottoman part of the Masjid, where you can view the Rawdah and feel a proximity to the Chosen One, upon him be peace.
@LifeMoves3 ай бұрын
Good point. But that’s if the front rows are available. If you go with your family and the elderly, you cannot always be on time. In that case, you may not find space at the front and have to continue walking back until you find some space.

Why do u travel all the way to madinah to solat outside the masjid ??
@LifeMoves2 ай бұрын
The courtyard is within the blessings of Masjid al Nabawi. The physical masjid you see today was much smaller in the past. Where you now pray “inside the masjid” was streets and houses at the time of the sahaba. Where the courtyard is now that you consider “outside the masjid” might be inside the masjid after the next expansion. So, does the blessing change based on construction? No, anyone praying in Jamaat connected to the masjid in an unbroken congregation, gets the blessings of Masjid Al Nabawi. Yes, it is better to pray at the front in the first row but that’s not always possible for everyone. My video is not encouraging to pray at the back, but rather giving people the option when they cannot go to the front for some reason. Don’t forget, not everyone is in the same situation. Some people come here family, children, the elderly, and the sick. There are people who would benefit from the information about alternative options.
@MrParenkdagreat2 ай бұрын
@LifeMoves you forked up so much money to go for umrah even if you are using wheelchair go early that's the reason why you are there. even if you are travelling with children make it a point to go early ... go as near as the rawdah it's a test of ur faith ... you need to push yourselves and hopefully once you are back from umrah the habits stick
@LifeMoves2 ай бұрын
Again, you are speaking about the ideal. Nobody is denying that it’s best to pray at the front. But are you saying you can always go early, 100% of the time? If you’ve never been late, Ma Sha Allah-you must be an angel! But what about the rest of us humans? What about those who are sick? Do you expect all 500,000 people to be at the front? Let’s accept the reality: not everyone can pray at the front. Learning what to do when things aren’t ideal is not the same as encouraging the non-ideal. For example, we learn how to perform Sujood as-Sahw (prostrations of forgetfulness) in case there’s a mistake in the prayer. Does that mean we’re encouraging mistakes in prayer? Of course not-it’s just preparation for a “what-if” scenario. The same concept applies here. It’s best to pray at the front, but if, for some reason, you can’t, what should you do? That’s what the video is about.

I’m not sure exactly where that hotel is located. If you have the full address, it could be looked up.

i've stayed at this area, all u have to do is to be early..solve the problem..thanks me later
@LifeMoves5 күн бұрын
That is like saying, regarding Sajda Sahw (prostration of forgetfulness), ‘I’ve prayed before, all you have to do is not make any mistakes..solve the problem..thank me later.’ Of course, we aspire to the ideal, but mistakes happen, people sometimes get delayed due to illness, arrival from the airport etc and knowing about what to do doesn’t increase the likelihood of it happening. Even if you stay on the north side, you can still go early-nothing is stopping you. Like it or not, the dedicated women’s sections are on the north side. So, it’s easier for families to stay on that side to ensure the women in the family don’t have to walk far to reach their sections.

can you provide a list of hotels then?
@LifeMoves Жыл бұрын
@ Zubair, The main point of this video was which side of the masjid your hotel should be. I have mentioned a hotel in this video. You can Google it and find other hotels around it. The hotels should be on the north side of the Masjid.

The hajj costs keep increasing
@Neveruser797612 ай бұрын
I think you have to use logic here, there are over 1.9 billion Muslims in the world, the means and access to travel for umrah/hajj is so much more accessible, so a lot more people can come, so it’s harder for Saudi to accommodate all travellers, as demand increase naturally prices increase. You have hotel capacity of example 500k beds but a 1m travellers, the price increases.
@LifeMoves2 ай бұрын
Yes, if you let supply and demand play out naturally, the prices will increase quickly. The alternative is for the government to support budget airlines and hotels. Luxury hotels can be there but we also need some budget no-frills hotels to be close to the haram.

you are going nowhere man, don't miss led the public. Everybody who came there knew how far is his accommodation and how many minutes he need to join the namaz. the more you walk for prayer, the more you will be rewarded.
@LifeMoves Жыл бұрын
I think the word you are looking for is “mislead”, not “miss led”.
@Hear8y Жыл бұрын
may be mislead but I am not discussing grammar here nor my first language is English. My view point is if somebody knew he needs 20 minutes to join the pray than he should walk before it. in case people stop booking hotels of the side you mention there will be huge business loss to this side and other sides will increase the rents and decrease the facilities. i hope you understand my English?
@LifeMoves Жыл бұрын
Where did I say Don’t book on the Qibla side? What I said is “Yes, you can book on this side, on the Qibla side. Just keep in mind that you have to walk a bit.” What’s wrong with that?
@Hear8y Жыл бұрын
as I wrote earlier this statement can effect the business of Qibla side hotels and shops. Indirectly you are agree with me by saying, "this time didn't book hotel to the Qibla side". anyhow I don't mean to discouraged or criticise you.
@LifeMoves Жыл бұрын
So what if it affects the hotel business on the Qibla side? With millions of visitors, they will never be empty. If fewer people book on that side and their prices go down, that’s great. If there is a disadvantage on one side, why should not people know about it? If you have to walk longer from one side, would you rather not know about it and then decide? People can then pay more and walk less. Or pay less and walk more. I don’t see any problem.
