Saw you at the clinic. Got to say hey to you during it. Loved seeing you and the other throws throw. It was a surreal experience!

Yakuza 863 yeah I’ve got a few tips. May just make a video on it soon because it could be helpful to a lot of people. What I do is wrap tape around my finger once then without ripping it I flip the tape over and wrap it 2 more times around my finger with the sticky side out. That way it holds my finger tight in place so it doesn’t hurt or tear more and also the sticky side out on the last 2 wraps gives me good grip and holds itself of. Hard to explain kind of but hopefully I’ll have a video out this week on it if it didn’t make sense

Throwing with sides. Right around left, left around right, right around left is a foundation element that we brought out of the Bondarchuk system. It directly coincides with the catapult vs trebuchet methaphor that was developed in 2015.

I noticed that when Martin throws, his left leg does not bend but sweeps long to the front. I think this is very similar to Stahl's technique. Does keeping the blocking leg straight, instead of bending it at the knee, provide more speed?

JamesE Brewer no that’s more preference and what works for you to get the block foot down to a good position. Like if you look at kanter he picks his up really high and is a 70+m thrower as well

I noticed that your left foot, in the middle, when it turns, it stops for a moment, and then it starts turning again when you block, the other athletes all have a continuous motion in there pivoting foot in the centre.

So after watching all your throws, compared to the others in this video, I feel like you are leaning forward more than just about everyone else. Not sure if that is something you want or need to work on, but everyone else is far more straight up and down versus your leaning forward??

Great video though, thanks for the time and effort required to make this information available.
