I don't know how this has so few views. This is very well put together and very informative. I went for a roadtrip around California late last year (i actually uploaded a video of it last week) centering around craft beer. San Diego was by far my favorite area for brews, im planning a second trip out later this year hence finding your video. I didn't know about Protector up until 2 minutes ago, has been added to my list :D

The Stone spokesperson says that Stone started the West Coast IPA style... not true! That style originated in 1975 with Anchor Brewing's release of Anchor Liberty. Many other breweries slowly followed their lead including Sierra Nevada, among others. It wasn't until 1997 that Stone released their first IPA. Better fact checking!
